The Candy Crowley Tipping Point
The American Spectator ^ | 10/18/12 | Jeffrey Lord

She got it wrong.

She interfered.

She took a side.

Candy Crowley may finally have done something else as well: so visibly tipping the scales of media bias that the end result makes Mitt Romney the next president.

Taken all together, CNN's Candy Crowley, in her zeal to intrude on the presidential debate and save President Obama from himself, may just have provided the televised moment that finally sparks a revolt against the four years of fawning coverage of President Obama.

Becoming to the liberal media what the Tet Offensive was to Lyndon Johnson and the Vietnam War.

For four years the mainstream media has done everything in its power to portray Barack Obama as the Second Coming, the messiah, or, in the immortal words of one-time Newsweek honcho Evan Thomas, "God." Chris Matthews described thrills down his leg. Katie Couric purred in a sycophantic Obama interview with hard hitting questions like this:

You're so confident Mr. President, and so focused. Is your confidence ever shaken? Do you ever wake up and say "damn, this is hard"?

Tuesday night Candy Crowley became the latest -- and perhaps the most important -- example of what Fox's Bernard Goldberg called in his book title A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (And Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media.

Obama was allowed to get in the last word (lie) 80% of the time.

She just to happens to have a transcript of his Rose Garden comments.

At least five of her questions were leftist hot topics or outright talking points.

When Romney brought up Fast and Furious Obama said, “Candy?”

On cue she stopped Mitt from speaking and changed the topic.

“She just to happens to have a transcript of his Rose Garden comments.”

And Obama just happened to know she had it.

Candy kind of reminds me of some old cow tipping pranks we use to play - way back when.

Both Crowley and Obama goaded Romney into committing on Acts of Terror, then She instantly knew the contents of the transcript... I'd like to read the transcripts of her conversation with Team Obama when this was planned!

I’ve been saying that since the night of the debate. How did Obama know Crowley had that particular transcript right in front of her?

If Candy went to Guam, would it tip over?

About halfway through the debate it was clear Obama either had been slipped the questions ahead of time or knew what subjects would come up.

His responses were so scripted and rehearsed they sounded memorized during debate prep.

What everyone seems to be missing is what Obama said in the 4th paragraph of his remarks:

Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts.

No acts of terror was in the 10th paragraph.

He was blaming the video right out of the gate.

That “binders full of women” is the media obsession coming out of that debate is a complete joke. That debate was completely fixed (for reasons you’ve summed up nicely), and Obama outright lied re energy and Benghazi.

I believe dealing with twenty something children who have bachelor’s/master’s degrees but are still unemployed or even underemployed is perhaps the biggest offense to plenty of women in the U.S. right now. Hiring, probably not so much.

Yep, and the eastern seaboard of the US would rise six inches out of the Atlantic.

Problem would be getting the li’l heifer to Guam. I guess you might be able to borrow an aircraft carrier and tow her like an iceberg.

The whole thing was pre-arranged between Obama & Crowley.
IT IS SO OBVIOUS AS TO BE LAUGHABLE.

I am thinking this morning - always a dangerous thing, without the MSM’s excellent informing of my my tiny little female brain.

Anyway, reading this post, and the comments following, I am trying to imagine how President Romney will be treated by the MSM.

It won’t be pretty.

CNN's in luck - they'll be able to convince their friends at the New York Times, ABC, NBC and CBS that it's all about nothing... Strange how so called journalists are so gullible ... well, under the right circumstances...
