And that's it. "That's my agenda for change," Obama told the crowd. "That's what we need to do. ... That's why I'm running for a second term." The president offered no specifics on how he would accomplish any of it.

Mitt Romney has been the target of sometimes withering criticism for offering scant details to support his campaign proposals. But could there be anything less substantial than the Obama second-term agenda?

In other words - he would keep doing all the stupid things he is already doing...

And the crowd yelled back...we don’t want to work....we want what we’re entitled to....food, shelter, clothing...but we want the good stuff....like he got.

It is because his ‘world’ is intellectually void of reason and truth. He appeals to sloth and greed and blame for self destructive behavior. When confronted with substantive honest and direct complaint (Romney in the debates) he later responds on the campaign trail “Romney wants to kill Big Bird”.

Nothing substantive, no explanation for his failure; only more vague promises of more largess without any explanation of how all what he’s done and what he is again promising gets paid for.

The ultimate answer to his idiotic attacks? Last night. Romney. “In the spirit of Sesame Street, the President’s remarks tonight are brought to you by the letter “O” and the number “16 Trillion.” It pretty much says it all.

This is the biting rebuke we must barrage this skidmark with for the rest of his miserable only term in office.

Obama's new theme song, courtesy of Jackson Browne.

"Running on, running on empty
Running on, running blind
Running on, running into the sun
But I'm running behind"

"That's my agenda for change,"

Sounds like an endorsement for Romney. Obama is the one who has been President for four long, dreary years. If change is necessary, he should be the first to go. That is the best way to effect the "change".

Barack Obama is offering us four more years of the same Obama Misery Index.

That’s not good enough for the country - it wants change and is going to get it in 2013.

Fifth, Obama would raise taxes on higher-income Americans. "We can't get this done unless we also ask the wealthiest households to pay higher taxes on their incomes above $250,000," Obama said. "That's how you do it."

One thing the 'rats never answer -- what tax rate is high enough for a "fair share"? It's always "more taxes"... they'll never put out a number that says "this is 'fair share', not a penny less or more".

He had 4 years and only made things worse.

Time to give someone else a chance.

Sorry————It’s way past time. He should have been impeached when he refused to enforce DOMA.

I always chuckle when I hear big government Democrat scumbags like Ubama use the word "ask".
Big government Democrat scumbags like Ubama don't "ask" for more taxes - - they confiscate them from people at the point of a gun.

"I will not be satisfied until everybody who wants to work hard can find a job," the president told the crowd.

"... by trying to get as many people as possible to give up the whole 'wanting to work' thing," he did not say aloud.

Those 5 sound very similar to Romney’s 5 things he will do.

Obama becomes the ‘me too’ candidate.

==

Obama’s record is so bad that he has to do what John Kerry did. Kerry borrowed ‘accomplishments’ of others, including Senator Bob KerrEy.

The only reason he didn’t run out of gas a long time ago is because he has been siphoning it from other people’s cars.

Isn’t this just a blatant rip-off of Romney’s five point economic plan that he’s be touting in the debates?

So why didn't he do any of this in his first term? Too busy golfing and hob-knobbing with celebrities?

Why is Romney allowing Obama to present himself to the voters as a challenger? They should be all over him on this. Instead of talking about what he will do if he is re-elected, somebody needs to ask him why isn't he doing these things now? Why does he need to be re-elected in order to do the job he already has?

He proposed to hire new math ... teachers

He needs one assigned to him personally. When he claimed that the math did not work in response to Romney, his nose should have lengthened 3 inches right then and there!

Fourth, Obama would "cut the deficit by $4 trillion over the next 10 years." He has already "cut spending that we didn't need," he said, and will do more in the future, but vowed not to cut any funds in areas like education and research.

Any pennies for defense?

Fourth, Obama would "cut the deficit by $4 trillion over the next 10 years."

Averaging $400 billion per year... which would still leave the annual deficit larger than when he took office.
