The U.S. Census, always seeking ways to go above and beyond its constitutional role of counting the number of people in the United States, may be planning to ask questions regarding sexual orientation in the 2020 Census community survey.

This crap needs to stop. They need to know nothing more than how many people. They asked me if my garage was an occupied dwelling.

Isn’t this a bad idea? Since it would show that gays aren’t 10-20% of the population that their advocacy groups push?
How many choices will there be? Because it’s getting pretty specific now—straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, polysexual, ambisexual, monosexual. The list goes on.
And if a man says he is transgender but is attracted to women, is he a lesbian?
Why the hell do they need to know anything?
Other than the number of people and that is it, no need for ethnicity, sex, etc etc....
They only need census data for determining reps and that is IT!

A - Human Beings of the opposite sex. No animals, fish, fowl, moslums or democrats.
Don’t answer any intrusive question. You just should list the number of people in your household. The census is a people count.
I ignore them - completely. There is but one purpose for them - every ten years. All else is just usurpation.
Corrections to these abuses are 3 months away....
The problem, as I see it, is this:
You get this multi-page form to complete. You fill out only the Constitutionally-mandated numbers and return. As far as the Census Bureau is concerned, you did not complete the form, so they send someone out to your house. You give the census taker the Constitutionally-mandated information and close your door. At that point, they have a blank form that they can fill out in any way they way.
Do you really think there’s wholesale honesty in the Census Bureau? If they have forms that people don’t want to complete, they’ll fill it in and make it look like there are more fags, more women, more children, more whatever, than is the truth.
The purpose of the Census used to be for the allocation of Congressional Representative. Prior to the arbitrary freezing of Congressional Representation at 435, it used to be that the number of Representatives increased every 10 years to account for the increase in the population. That was stopped during Roosevelt’s administration (big surprise).
They’ve turned the Census into a socio-political football for use by politicians. It’s sick and sad.
Agreed, all I answered on the last one was how many people at the house. I did get a couple of calls from the census people, but I ignored them.

On my three Censuses as an adult, I’ve taken care to mark my ethnicity as “Other/ Mixed [or “Human”].”
What fun can I have with a question about sexual orientation? “See attached pages. No, really! I want you to know EVERYTHING!”
If I answered it would be ‘top’.

A study referenced on yesterdays news says that the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender population is only 3.4% not the 25% they claim to be.
I skim all over the Web, so I'm not sure where.
The largest American survey (170,000, maybe?) ever done just confirmed what earlier studies suggest...
The total American population of Lesbian-Gay-Bi-Trans is less than 4%.
For adults over age 30, the percentage was about 3%.
For adults age 20-30, the percentage was about 4.5%.
Interestingly, individuals with the highest income and education level reported the lowest percentage of LGBT’s.
None of these numbers are what I would have expected based on MSM news reports and Democrat campaign ads.

I don’t just ignore those kinds of questions:
I write NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS all over them!!!
Especially when I get the long form Census. Then I get a new form to fill out along with a nastygram about how I MUST fill it out and return it.
I think I still have the 2000 long form-2nd request- on my desk somewhere! They can pound sand with anything beyond how many people live at this address!!!
IF they send someone out to my house/property, I will not answer their questions- I will order them to vacate my property-NOW!
Ten-four that. They drove us crazy last time. Sent three forms, came to the farm four times. I got to get some meaner dogs before 2020.
Well, it will be the 2020 census. They should ask people if they have 20-20 vision.
My response will be a two word sentence. The second work will be “you”.
