Maryland leans toward historic embrace of same-sex marriage in vote next month

Maryland voters are poised to approve same-sex marriage at the ballot box next month, a potential watershed moment in the history of a right that has been granted by courts and state legislatures but never by a popular vote, a new Washington Post poll has found.

Maryland voters favor upholding the state’s gay marriage law by a nine-point margin, according to the poll, which could end a streak of defeats in more than 30 states and provide further evidence of the country’s evolution on the controversial topic. Recent surveys have also shown leads in Maine and Washington state, where voters will be presented with the same issue Nov. 6.

This is from the Washington Post and they lie.

I haven’t spoken to one friend who will vote to allow Homo’s to marry in this State.

They must have taken the poll in the Governors Mansion and the State Senate where fags rule.

State is 1/4 black. Many in the black community do not support gay marriage. Not so fast Wash Post.

Just came across another article regarding polls for the marriage referendums. This one is a bit more hopeful:

http://www.politico.com/blogs/charlie-mahtesian/2012/10/gay-marriage-polling-uncertain-138977.html?hp=l20

The article speaks of what I have heard of the "Bradley Effect". It states that people may poll 9% differently than how they vote in the polling booth on social issues due to "stigma". This may be occurring with these referendums.

If so, the MD, Maine, and MN measures are actually teetering right on the edge.

The WA gay marriage measure, however, still polls 6% in favor of the referendum passing.

Gay “marriage” will be defeated at the polls.

This also points out why we need a constitutional amendment defining marriage. Otherwise the pinko states will get their foot in the door and pry it open for every other state, even those that vigorously oppose it.

It's time to get this ball rolling, boy and girls. Or we'll have legalized buggery in all 57 states before you can say "Jack Pervertson."

“So, that will be interesting to see on election night. Four blue states, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington, all voting on how marriage will be defined.”

I would reckon that the gays are going to win in at least two of these states, probably Maryland and Minnesota...
