Bill Clinton: Obama would totally win if Americans weren’t so darn “impatient”

One among the top tier of President Obama's army of surrogates strikes again. Trying to promote Team O's latest messaging that, why yes, we are indeed shameless enough to actually embrace our economic record and spin it as a positive, President Bill Clinton painted a picture of Americans that was somewhat less than flattering on the campaign trail on Friday, via CBS News:

Campaigning for Obama in Green Bay, Wis., Clinton urged voters to stay the course as more signs of a recovery sink in. Clinton said voters should judge Obama on the past three years, in which private sector job growth has made up for lost ground.

"This shouldn't be a race," Clinton said. "The only reason it is, is because Americans are impatient on things not made before yesterday and they don't understand why the economy is not totally hunky-dory again."

The former president said Obama’s difficulty in his race with Republican challenger Mitt Romney is that “people don’t feel it yet” even as the unemployment rate ticks down and the manufacturing sector perks up.

Oh, of course — but for those damnably impatient Americans who have spent the last few years watching their incomes shrink and gas and food prices rise; who’ve seen their employers dropping health insurance plans; who’ve been unemployed or underemployed for months on end; they just don’t get it. Forget that President Obama employed Keynesian principles that have kept us in the most milquetoast economic recovery since the Great Depression: There are just too many factors outside of his control, for which we shouldn’t blame him, and if we just hike taxes a bit on the wealthiest few Americans (who already happen to shoulder the largest tax burden while providing jobs for others), then we can just take our sweet time reforming our current spending habits while adding trillions to the debt.

But Clinton says that it’s Mitt Romney who “thinks we’re dumb.” Riiiiight.

It's hard to tell just how much of Clinton's tongue is in his cheek.

I get the feeling he likes to say things about Obama that can be read and understood in different ways, endorsements that sound a lot like attacks or put-downs.

First signs of an excuse on November 7. MSM willl be all over it.

It reminds me of what Clinton/Obama co-religionists in the Soviet bloc of old liked to say to excuse their constant and continuous failures: “It’s not the theory, it’s the damn people!” They were of course right without knowing or admitting it, it’s the human nature that will not yield to their utopian fantasies. It is eerie that Krintong would nowcome with with something similar, theirs is a kind of religion, isn’t it!

You’re either a liar or hopelessly out of touch, Billy Bob. Americans aren’t impatient—it’s gone way beyond that. They are feeling desperate and close to despair. Even bilge-rats will sense that they need to jump off a sinking ship.

This from a guy who doesn’t know self control from every man for himself.

He is a certified liar (convicted in a court of law for such), with no regard for the sanctity of marriage, family and country.

He is indecent to the highest level.

When will Americans be sick of him?

When will he go away?

KMA Slick! I just read where the third world commie fags from the U.N. are going to be “monitoring” the upcoming U.S. elections. When America was nothing but Americans, these Bags ‘O Third World Crap wouldn’t dare try to pull this BS. They would have been tarred and feathered and then hung. As it should be. Get the UN out of the US. They are the greatest danger to the future of America and freedom.

Sometimes patience is just ignorance of not knowing what to do, which is the case of Obama and the left. With Romney we won’t have to be patient without end, and our patience will be rewarded with a turn around. Patiently waiting for $8 dollar a gallon Obamagas is not the way a country should waste its time.

Hard to understand why anyone gives Bill Clinton any relevance.

Many of the Obama people blatantly lying to us, congress, and rest of world came from Clinton administration.

Susan Rice, Eric Holder and Hillary. Hillary is getting foreign policy advice from Clintonite John Podesta.

Clinton needs to outline all of the progress made by the Progressives at JustUs, EPA, Homeland Security, HHS, Treasury, Interior, etc.

Well, Bill, I didn’t grift as much money as you and Hillary did for the last 25 years so, yeah, I am a little impatient to improve my lot.

More of Slick Willy’s “damning with faint praise” of the community organizer. What Slick is really saying is, “Yep, I know Obama has been a failure and Americans don’t believe the next four will be any better than the past four.”

Yeah four years of unemployment is barely enough to cause a family to even take notice (sarc).

I guess we were all conditioned by the rapid turnaround on cattle futures. We needs patience

When will he go away?

Basically, never.

Once Clinton's dead, it'll get even worse as the idea of him becomes mythologized into "Greatest American President Ever Since FDR" and some such. Likewise, future generations of the Left will write Obama into the annals of greatness, exclaiming him a tragically misunderstood visionary too ahead of his time for the stupid American sheeple to understand.
