I am the sole conservative/Republican in my large extended family. In 2008, they mercilessly ganged up on me in person, and over email. After the election, the gloating began, and didn't stop for months.

I'm going to be feeling pretty smug and vindicated in a few weeks, but I'm not going to rub their noses in it. I think the 'silent treatment' will be even more devastating to their psyches.

Not only will I have 'won', it'll just kill them that I'm taking the high road and refusing to return the nasty barbs they threw at me.

Newspaper endorsements have nothing to do directly with how the vote will turn out, especially in today's world where daily newspapers are pretty much on the road to extinction.

But, aside from the Orlando Sentinel's endorsement of Romney, there are other signs here and there that the Obamatons might be night have as iron-clad a grip on some of their their MSM propagandists as they did even a month ago, such as Romney getting some less negative coverage in some places.

Perhaps some MSM types are thinking that Obama might not be in office very much longer.
