The 2012 presidential election is still more than two weeks away, but on Friday a CBS News affiliate in Arizona called the race for President Barack Obama.
For 17 seconds, Phoenix, Arizona CBS News affiliate KPHO ran a lower third graphic that showed that Obama had won the Nov. 6 election over Gov. Mitt Romney with 99% of the precincts reporting. The lower third graphic appeared around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, during an episode of The Peoples Court.
The CBS News graphic showed Obama winning the election with 43 percent of the vote nationwide to Romneys 40 percent - or 40,237,966 votes to 38,116,216. It is unclear who garnered the other 17 percent in the fictional election results.
KPHOs general manager did not return The Daily Callers request for comment by time of publication.

"I tell you why I'm f*kin' mad as hell - we can't get our guy elected. Our ratings are in the crapper and the revenue just stinks! It maddens me to no end to know we'll have to cancel this season's Obama Reality Show! Just when things were turning the hell around! The most stressful part of being a network executive is not knowing whether the fickle public will continue to support a show we spent millions on! God help us, if Obama loses, you'll see hell on TV next year. And that will be the least of your worries. Obama was the best thing that ever happened to us and I'll sh*t bricks if he's gone! The American people don't know what's good for them and we have to make them see it. Want to know why? Its the entertainment, stupid!"
Having worked in TV most likely they were just working on the graphics for the election using some poll result. The clown just hit the wrong button making it appear during a broadcast like peoples court.
If election returns “coincidentally” match these pre-reports, we know it’s been stolen.
Oh jeez..
watch the network news on election day, just for fun..
with less than 1% returns, they will be calling the election for fubo, then will be shocked, I mean SHOCKED with every state romney wins...
same scenario for the past 40 years..
