My wife works for a large doctors group (35 offices and 2 hospitals). The doctors are not accepting any new medicare patients. They have cancelled plans to build a third hospital even though all the permits have been granted.

If the Federales are paying for someone’s health care (with our tax dollars), at some point they have a right, heck, they have a DUTY to say “enough.”

Some FReeper in hospital medicine refuted this the other day. The penalty is only 1, 2, 3% for subsequent readmissions. Some conservative nut sites are nearly as big a problem as the liberals.
