President Obama’s once seemingly unstoppable march toward re-election hit what he might call “bumps in the road” in Benghazi, Libya, late on Sept. 11, 2012. It might be more accurate to describe the effect of the well-planned and -executed, military-style attack on a diplomatic facility there as the political equivalent of a devastating improvised explosive device on the myth of the unassailability of the Obama record as commander in chief. Thanks to intrepid investigative reporting — notably by Bret Baier and Catherine Herridge at Fox News, Aaron Klein at WND.com and Clare Lopez at RadicalIslam.org — and information developed by congressional investigators, the mystery is beginning to unravel with regard to what happened that night and the reason for the subsequent, clumsy official cover-up now known as Benghazigate. The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat J. Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the “opposition” in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

Had to call my son on this one,....caught him out with his youngest daughter at their fly casting class where they were "building " a flycasting rod in this class.

I've been following this Ambassador Stevens neck deep in "Faster & Furiouser in Syria" angle now for the better part of a week. The most maddening thing about it is to watch Greta van Susteren or Hannity sitting there with "experts" who are either clueless or pretending to be ignorant about this "gun running-to-Al Quaida-in-Syria angle.

For goodness sakes, this is no longer an obscure story; Gaffney's no slouch. IT'S IN THE WASHINGTON TIMES!!! Really, it's safe to say SOMETHING. They have absolute proof that Zero knew. They have proof that he had sufficient time and the means for remedial action. They have proof that he lied about it and ordered his minions to chime in at every opportunity. He had Hillary standing in front of the caskets at Andrews babbling about a video. They have proof that the entire hierarchy marched in lock-step right off that credibility cliff, that every one of them thought it was worth it... and yet STILL the mediots are babbling about how they have no idea why Zero wouldn't do anything about the attack.

How about, He's COMPLICIT in that attack?!?!?! 'Oh no, CAN'T be. That would be treason! That's just conspiracy stuff. Only birthers think like that...'

This creep is so clearly a lifelong revolutionary communist that it is impossible to conclude otherwise. There is equal reason to believe that he is a closet Muslim. Look at who funded his rise to power. Look at the record of Marxism for G_d's sake, not to mention Islam... Human life and national loyalty mean NOTHING to either one of those ideologies. Yet even conservative mediots confronting the possibility that Stevens was simply offed, either because he knew too much or because he wouldn't go far enough, and simply close their yaps in the effort to appear concerned and serious. The portents are so horrifying and they feel so stupid and ashamed for having let this creep get this far that it's easier to hope the election will fix it. Well they'd better wake up before this petulant thug does something truly serious, like steal this election, visibly, obviously, brazenly... with the entire MSM backing him up calling it a "miracle" or "unexpected."

Then what will they do? It's been done before.

This story needs more exposure. That this is in the Washington Times means there is no longer an excuse to pretend that Zero was somehow indecisive or incompetent to mount a timely response to the attack on Stevens et al. This may well have been murder by proxy. What remains is to establish a motive.

The Mexican Drug cartels would link up with the jihadis who would be bringing in the arms via ship to Mexico, with the USN and US Coast Guard ordered to stand down, ( the weapons in Libya include thousands of shoulder fired missiles capable of bringing down an airliner at 20, 000 feet).The paths to walk these arms into the USA are already established routes used by the drug cartels, and the Border Patrol is overwhelmed. These arms would be given to the reconquista movement, and other Obama Muslim thugs

It seem that Romney stepping back on the issue during the debate, may have been because he knew what was about to come down. Get out of the way so the story (OB) becomes the story not the other candidate.
