We must double our efforts of rape and pillage of our citizens!
My wife and I fly a LOT. We never once went through those things but we did get patted down a lot as well.
It was a low price to pay. We won.
The vendors have been paid. The money has been made by the “right” people. The scanners are no longer needed. End of story. Now who is next on the bundler list?

Please stop attaching “-Gate” to anything anymore . That was Nixon’s deal.
My favorite comment from one of the sites posting this:
“The scanners were pulled because the workers accidentally saw the backscatter scans of Janet (two scoops) Neopolitan and they immediately jumped into the whirling turbines of jet engines to remove the grisly image from their minds. It was the right thing to do.”

What did we win? We paid for them all. They are still in use in lower traffic airports and can be put back any time they want: like after the election. They made their money. The TSA is still in business as a low-class group of government goon-lackeys and we pay for them too.
