No judge in their right or wrong mind would entertain a motion to unseal the testimony. The real victims here could be the couple’s children, as they begin to learn the tawdry and unsettling details of their parent’s divorce.
If someone had told me in 2004 that a guy would be President of the United States because a family court judge ignored the welfare of a young boy and unsealed he-said/she-said testimony about the parents going to sex clubs, I would have called that nuts.

Romney was never the Republican nominee, former or otherwise, in the 2008 Presidential race. There was only one Republican nominee (the guy who actually got the nomination). Romney aspired unsuccessfully for the nomination in 2008.
You guys bring up a very valid point, but you should also keep this point in mind: Dems have been trying everything against this guy that used to work, and finding out it isn’t working. This will likely be more in the same vein. Also keep in mind that in 2004 nobody outside Chicago knew what an incompetent twit Obama was, and the IL GOP put possibly the worst possible candidate up against him. This time he’s going down in flames and the candidate on the other side is kicking butt and taking names.

This is Debate 3 rerun. They were so sure Romney would attack 0bama on Libya, but they were wrong. Now, they probably hoped Romney to fight them to keep the record sealed.

Easy divorce is a major problem for our society, but one of the perverse benefits is that this woman is likely to remind a lot of men of their first wife, or the shrew who divorced one of their friends...and remind a lot of women of their bitter divorced friend or relative who blames every problem in her life on a man she divorced before the turn of the century.

The Obama’s campaign has a habit of getting documents unsealed right before an election. That is of course as long as it isn’t documents concerning himself.
True enough. I met Jack Ryan a few weeks before they torpedoed him.
Ryan’s only defense would have been to accuse his wife of perjury and he not only wasn’t willing to do that, she was already saying that the public should put it aside and focus on what a great senator he would be.
If the GOP had been able to find a good candidate, I think Obama would have lost the Senate race and still be in the IL legislature. Romney and his campaign are competent in ways Keyes and his campaign never imagined.
