The arrest of over 53 people in the United Kingdom is the beginning of the end for once-great Britain. The leaders of the English Defence League (EDL), Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll, were among those arrested, as well as Paul Weston of the British Freedom Party (BFP). I spoke with Kevin Carroll about his recent arrest and that of Robinson and Weston, and he told me the appalling details.
Carroll told me that British authorities tried everything in the book to stop him from running for police and crime commissioner (PCC) for the Bedfordshire Police Authority. Nonetheless, he officially won the right to run for PCC last Friday. But then, the very next day, British authorities carried out these mass arrests of EDL and BFP members, stripping them and forcing them to wear white paper overalls like those given to incarcerated terrorists. They were allowed no phone calls.
Meanwhile, British police raided the homes of Carroll, Robinson, and three others who had been arrested. "They absolutely ransacked mine," Carroll told me. "They smashed the door off and wrecked my home. They took my only vehicle, with all the tools of my trade inside, and impounded it, as well as Tommy's car." The police, the bomb squad, forensics teams, and sniffer dogs spent seven and a half hours stripping Carroll's van to the bone. "When they finished," he said, "they found nothing! They loaded it up with bugs and GPS monitors and threw everything in the back; it looks like it's been in a blender."

The EDL are a bunch of thugs with links to serious neo-nazi UK groups and organised soccer hooliganism. Their leader and many of the hierarchy and followers have convictions for violent offences.
They are NOT the answer. You want to back Britain, folks, support UKIP or the more rightwing Tories. Not the EDL.
All the UK posters, here, myself included, are conservative and patriots. And we are the ones who have been trying to disabuse you all of the notion that they are true British heroes. As we know them better than you. And we have seen them in the flesh.

Paul Weston is a former member of the BNP, who are the UK equivalent of the KKK: a racist, antisemitic, holocaust denying political party. His new small party is just offshoot, more of the same crap.
Weston, Carroll and the EDL represent British people and British conservatives no more than the KKK represents Republicans and conservatives in the US.

1—Hmm. Muslims number about 2.4 to 2.8 m out of 60m here, and even although the Christian numbers have fallen drastically, the Muslim numbers in 2001 would have been less than 2m. A 2007 UK Christian survey found about 6m Britons go to Christian church regularly. The 2001 figure would probably be slightly higher. Or even quite a bit higher.
BUT even if not, thats 2m at best VS 6m. So even in our godless days (most Britons still respect the church and we get married there, buried there, christenings, and all the various church ‘things’ even if we arent regular goers), thats THREE TIMES as many Christians as Muslims.

4—Tony’s sister-IN-LAW was always an attention seeker. I used to read her weekly prattle in the Daily Mail.
I have a close friend who is a very highly regarded Christian evangelist worldwide who moved to America from england back in 1992.
He has personally told me and even announced from the pulpit that England today is LESS than 1% Christian. He said that England is more atheist than anything else and the fastest growing religion in England is Islam.

Actually I was wrong, and you are correct.
Weston is ex-UKIP, he DOES have links to the BNP with his BFP party, as they share many ideas. But he as far as I can tell was not an official BNP member.

With all due respect, your friend hasnt lived here for 20 years. So he is wrong in some regards. He is correct that the rate of regular Christians is shockingly low, compared to what it was, 1% isnt quite true. The survey I quoted is more 10% than 1. One in ten is probably about right. Although I am not sure what the survey counted, was it just England and Wales and did it include Scotland and NI, which would boost the numbers.
One percent would mean just 600000 regular Christians in the whole UK, and thats way, way off. Even today.
Islam might be technically the fastest growing but that dosent mean anything other than a larger Islamic immigration to the UK, which is still just 4%. It dosent mean white, black or Asian Brits are being converted. Or that the UK is being swamped.
What this article fails to state is that Stephen Yaxley-Lennon aka “Tommy Robinson” is a vicious thug.
He served a 12 month prison sentence in 2005 for assaulting a police officer.
In July 2011 he was convicted of using threatening, abusiveor insulting behviour.
On 29 September 2011 he was convicted of common assault for headbutting a fellow EDL member.
On 8 November 2011 he was arrested after a protest on the roof of the FIFA building in Zurich and fined £3000 and jailed for three days.
On 22 October Lennon was charged with using a false passport to travel to the US. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court next January. Hopefully he will get a very long custodial sentence.
This is the man who wants to stand for the position of Police and Crime Commissioner?.
