Local Democrat Party running radio ads reminding people of benefits
Local Radio Station | 27 October 2012 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

Our local radio station is running ads from the local Democrat Party reminding people of the Medicare benefits, etc. and telling people they would "be on their own" with the coupons proposed by Republicans. The ad urges them to vote Democrat and does not mention Obama.

TOPICS: US: Texas; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: benefits; democratads; socialism; vanity; welfare
Never heard an ad like THAT before. Don't have the exact transcript, but it was completely Socialist in content. It was reminding people that the democrat party was the provider of all of the freebies. How long can all of this continue?

That’s every ad Obama puts out. Free this. Free that.

Obama’s definition of “fair share” is take from Republicans and give to Democrats.

The desperate ‘Rats are trying to save themselves from going down with the sinking Obama raft. Our prayer should be that all the workers of evil should be utterly vanquished and that they never return to power in this once-great land.

This is the “carrot” of socialism. Vote for me and I’ll give you free stuff. And the stupid people flock to him.

If he wins and we begin our transition to communism, they will discover the “stick” as the lazy stay-home moochers discover that the cornucopia of government freebies has an end when the productive people stop producing excess to trade for devaluing federal scrip.

Pete Hoekstra has a couple of ads running against Debbie Stabenow that could be used against all the democrats because they show her admitting to cuts in things like medicare.

“We’ve got to educate the American people at the same time we educate the President of the United States. The Republicans, Speaker Boehner or Majority Leader Cantor did not call for Social Security cuts in the budget deal. The President of the United States called for that,”

I saw something like that in Florida.

This is scare tactics of the worse kind. The changes proposed by Romney/Ryan won't even apply to anyone that is currently 55 or over.

But, they carefully word the ad to make it sound like it will affect people currently on Medicare. It won't.

That’s funny. Our local Democrat ads flooding the radio are funny too. They remind Democrats-short-on-brains to vote for President Obama and to punch 6 straight ticket. They also tell Democrats-short-on-common-sense that Republicans tried to force voter ID on the citizens but the courts found it unconstitutional. They end it by saying, Republicans want you to stay home and not vote. Uh, this is a town with 85% Democrats. They probably lost kin over in Juarez thanks to Fast and Furious....but they want you to vote for the guy who signed off on the guns. Go figure.
