They didn’t send help at all.
Heck....help was ready - help was eager to go.
Help was told to STAND DOWN

The rescue actions all start automatically, and proceed automatically. It must be this way, in case the POTUS is in the helicopter etc between secure meeting places. The working assumption is that the military works full-speed-ahead back from an actual projected rescue time. This is what military planners do for a living. The only “hold back” lines are they must get positive authority from POTUS to cross an international border.
This would even be in the case of a “hot pursuit” by one of our fighter jets in some incident chasing an enemy jet. If this was not in a ongoing war with SOPs and ROEs, but part of some unexpected “incident” then the US jet would have to turn back prior to crossing the border. Only an order up and down the COC from pilot to POTUS to pilot will allow him to cross the border.
This can happen in minutes by secure phones, but the order to permit cross border must come from POTUS (via the COM, the pilot does not speak to POTUS.) The pilot just hears, “go ahead you are cleared to cross the border.” This is because some jacked-up jet jockey could start a new war by accident. It has to be this way. Look at the Turkish/Syrian border, and how key borders are. Jets stray, next thing you know artillery is firing off in response, and it can turn into WW3.
So you can see, Beghazi, despite all lies and obfuscations, must rest at Obama’s feet. He is the one and only “go or no go” to cross a border. The rescue op was already inbound, so to speak. On a path to a rescue time. But it still had to cross a border.
If Obama said, “No,” then went to bed, they might try beating on his door, but if Axlerod holds them off, not even that can help. Case closed, until POTUS wakes up.
“No” means “no” when you are POTUS. He goes to bed, that’s it until he wakes up.

That explanation is iffy for me. Iran is on Syria’s side—kind-of. I think in actuality Iran has switched to straddling in Syria.
The Imams and Islamic scholars were spanking Ahmadinejad for working fully for al-Assad and causing the Sunnis to be pushed to the outside. They direct that Iran should seek to reconcile all Muslims.

I think Turkey expects they should lead this Caliphate, not Iran. Turkey is not our friend. Turkey will not cede Syria to Iran. Damascus is too important. Saudi will go down once Damascus is decided. Turkey or Iran will ensure such.

We do know who is responsible for the Benghazi attack—it was Abu Khattala leader of Ansar al-Shariah. Our government was working with them and that is why they ordered a stand down and that is why we will probably never have the truth.
No, I don’t think it was Turkey or Iran—it was a puritanical Isamic militant group and that is more frightening than a state backed attack. We are fighting and being betrayed by Islam and our own governments denial about it.
Also there is much to prove that this wave has been nurtured by the Universities around the world under the guise of Social Justice. Universities and their students are the striking match to fuel.
