President Barack Obama will continue to push for middle-class tax cuts as part of his economic agenda, but the White House is not considering a specific new tax cut plan at this time, a spokesman for Obama said on Saturday.
"Moving forward, the president does believe that cutting taxes for middle class families is an important part of his economic agenda. It is something he'll continue to push for," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters.
He denied a Washington Post report that said the Obama administration is considering a tax cut to increase workers' take-home pay and replace the payroll tax reduction set to expire at the end of the year.

It is NOT any lesser amount in real dollars.
THAT's how he gets away with the, "I've cut taxes 18 times" boojit.
Any "cut" is the amount "cut" being re-assigned to a social program
"cut" a tax, and the amount "cut" is ADDED to ... sayyyy .. food stamp allotments.
The "budget" stays the same.
Despite Democrats’ hatred for rich people and the unfair share they pay in taxes, a 100% tax of their regular income wouldn’t dent the debt this country owes. If the government persists in $1-2 trillion dollar deficits, it wouldn’t even pay for that.
The middle class, those honest and fine Americans not part of the leeching entitlement EITC’ers, SSIs, SSDIs, TANFs, SNAPs, Section 8s etc., would have to make up the difference.
The only way to keep the middle class from paying more is to seize assets that are not income. Capital, cash, and equity assets - among these 401Ks, IRAs, Roth IRAs, etc.
This narcissistic traitor masquerading as a President has near-irrevocably traded our future financial safety for the largess he’s granted to low-life losers unwilling to work, solely for their votes. He’s created an extra ONE TRILLION DOLLARs of entitlements that are not connected to Social Security or Medicare, and he could give a damn. His next four years certainly promises more debt of the same.
This problem is solved by sending this skidmark back to Chicago, or to Hawaii, or wherever the hell isn’t here, and erasing EVERYTHING he’s done in the nearly 4 years he’s been in power.
Obama has no class.
I don’t think that enough people know that the “Middle class tax cut” he blows about is really the “payroll tax cut”, which is really nothing more than DE-FUNDING Social Security
