PRAYERS FOR ISRAEL

Maschil of David, when he was in the cave; a Prayer.

With my voice I cry unto HaShem; with my voice I make supplication unto HaShem.

I pour out my complaint before Him, I declare before Him my trouble;

When my spirit fainteth within me--Thou knowest my path--in the way wherein I walk have they hidden a snare for me.

Look on my right hand, and see, for there is no man that knoweth me; I have no way to flee; no man careth for my soul.

I have cried unto Thee, O HaShem; I have said: 'Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.'

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

Thanks, Kathy! I watched a little football this afternoon - not bad, but none of my fave teams involved. Beginning now - Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma - one of the truly classic rivalries! One of my earliest football memories was the great game in 1957 where Notre Dame ended Oklahoma's unprecedented winning streak - 66 games if I recall correctly. I don't think that streak has ever been equaled. Interestingly enough, Notre Dame was the last team to defeat Oklahoma before that streak began.

Good luck to your Fighting Irish...

I’m having to run back and forth when I hear my Dad moving around. For the last 2 hours he is obsessed with finding “the clock”. He says it will go off every hour. We don’t HAVE a clock that will do that. Why do you want this clock? So I can check something. Check what? Anything, something.

I can’t get him to understand that the clock that went off 20 minutes ago was a timer, set to the 30 minutes he requested. No, that was THIS clock (an alarm clock in his hand).

Back again....the alarm he had me set for 6p went off. He’s got the clock in his hand turning knobs and changed the alarm time.

No updates have come in on Nate other than he had to grab some of his Dad's Birthday Cake,he's walking, climbing, grabbing for big folks food whenever he sees some at the table. Thanksgiving this year will be fun.

The family dog George has become Nates best friend because Nate shares all of his food on the tray with George and any food off the table that he can reach.
