I am actually glad I didn’t know that.

I agree. John McCain did the “right thing” here by putting the Benghazi debacle right into the lap of the Main Stream Media. His performance forces them to address it on the National stage, which should and MUST be done. This Cover-UP / Incompetence cannot be allowed to stand! It is a matter of National Security!

John’s past is irrelevant... this could have been done by any one of National stature, but not as effectively... Why is it relevant that he is a “loser” or that he advocated for involvement in Libya in the first place? Are you saying his judgement is so suspect so we must ignore the lies about what happened in Benghazi?

Don’t shoot the messenger! Be glad the Left thinks enough of him to give him a National Stage to expose the utter failure of the Obummer Foreign Policy and his administration’s total incompetence in the area of National Security.

Well done, John!

Shieffer didn’t bring up Benghazi...he asked a stupid Obama saves us from the Hurricane question. McCain is the one that turned the discussion to Libya.

His daughter should come get him by the hand and take him home!! In 2008, he wouldn’t listen to Hannity and those who spoke loudly about Obama’s deceitfulness. McCain helped put him in office. He’s a little late.

McCain is a good one to be doing this. He is more popular and may have a bit more credibility with the libs and Mitt can keep his hands clean and stay above the fray.

McCain and Linda are always great on tv when everyone is watching. What you have to be careful of is they have an obama syndrome of becoming someone completely different when they get in a bi=partisan committee on anything. t
They always yield to the left. We always get screwed. When that stops I will become a McCain fan. Not until.

I assume that you are talking about Obumbler getting the US involved in the so-called “Arab Spring”. He is the same ilk of incompetence as the Peanut Farmer Carter is, who threw the Shah of Iran under the bus and allowed the Ayatollah Khomeni and his eveil regime come to power. Obumbler threw Mubarak and Gaddafi under the bus and much worse, allowed Al Quaida and the Muslim Brotherhood to come into power.

>>LOL...old Bob Schieffer couldn’t get McCain off the air fast enough.<<

Just goes to show that one shouldn’t trust someone else’s description, but check it out oneself, I guess.

As someone else pointed out, it was CBS, not ABC as you thought. As for your claim that “Schieffer couldn’t get McCain off the air fast enough,” I got the exact opposite impression. He let him talk for some time, and even asked follow up questions. At the end of the interview, he even seemed satisfied, rather than upset.

CBS has Sharyl Attkisson reporting on F&F, and now this. I suspect CBS is turning out to be the first leak in the MSM firewall that Obama has built up around him. I think the next week is going to be interesting, now that this story is turning out to be huge, and is finally breaking outside of Fox, Drudge, and the internet sites covering it closely.

As for McCain, he was a lousy candidate and has compromised our principles (maybe not his, but ours) way too much in the past, but he did Romney a huge favor getting this out on a Sunday morning network show. Now if it would just get some legs...

I’m talking about that sleazebag John McCain who was cheerleading from day one.

If you want to talk to a sheep who only notices what is convenient, I suggest you talk to someone else because that ain’t me.

I concur, McCain didn’t mince words on Benghazi and he wasn’t gonna let Schiefer get away without discussing it.

Yes. Sharyl Attkisson has done an incredible job on F and F and now Benghazi.

But her work is completely out of character for CBS.

Shieffer is a Democratic shill...if you can't read his face and see his discomfort...perhaps your respect for Attkisson (I share such) has blurred your vision.
