GOP Rout In Pennsylvania Absentee Ballot Returns

Posted on 10/30/2012 5:30:50 AM PDT by Perdogg

This morning President Obama’s campaign indicated they are going on the air in Pennsylvania and sending Joe Biden to the state trying to protect a state that just one week ago was considered to be safe ground. One possible reason? The enormous GOP edge in absentee ballot returns in the state, creating an enormous and unexpected hole for the President’s campaign to dig out of.

In 2008 the GOP edged the Democrats by just 2% in absentee returns. As of today the GOP’s lead is 18.8% — a 16.9% bump in a state Obama won by 10% in 2008. Republicans have turned in 55.2% of the absentee ballots to date while the Democrats have returned just 36.4%.

The Romney Victory team has been on the ground in Pennsylvania for months with over 60 staff and dozens of offices. We have made over 5 million volunteer voter contacts including over 1 million volunteer door knocks across Pennsylvania. That voter contact is paying off in the absentee ballot returns and clearly the President’s campaign sees it in their numbers. That’s why they are playing defense in the Keystone state as Governor Romney’s momentum allows us to expand the map.

I will not be surprised at a lot of vote fraud by the dems. It sickens me to think our election can be stolen. Chavez would be proud.

The one thing about the projections based on the number of early voters and absentee that has me shaking my head, is the fact that they assume the voters will support the candidate of their party.

After reading Goodwins column about how he is voting for Romney, I got a feeling a lot of D voters will be going for Romney

Don’t be silly! The election will take place as scheduled.

No Obama through his covert squadron of black helicopters and army of black panthers will force through illegal executive orders, the SOSs of Ohio, Fla, Va to postpone the elections. See that will give them time to redo the programming to the Soros funded voting machines and use the secret powers of Satan to change existing votes all to Obama. We need to be leading by at least 10% on election day to withstand the all powerful election fraud machine. We all know the left has such an insurmountable intellectual edge, they toy with us like cat does with a ball of string. They know they have it in the bag, see that is why they hand selected through the aforementioned voting machines to pick a patsy like Romney to act as though he wants to be President but all the time it's some grand ruse. Its over, the USA as we know it, they are coming for your guns, your bibles and your white women. Its hopeless,...All you base belong to us.

Great news. Perhaps this margin for R&R will be Dumbocrat-fraud proof.

The rats can steal a close election but I do not see how they can steal 100,000 votes. That is just too obvious.

If this holds true through the election then the man whose name must not be mentioned here (hint - U*******n) would have been proven right again; the WHI predicted a few months back about a state that reports early showing a surprising Romney advantage . . .

Don’t forget that while I don’t believe there is a single Republican voting for Obama, I saw a picture of Romney at a East Coast rally with “Democrats for Romney” T-Shirt wearers in the crowd.

I live in SW Pennsylvania. There are Romney yard signs EVERYWHERE. I have seen only two Obama yard signs. The local TV spots are hard hitting showing layed off coal miners. This area is filled with Democrat zombies too. I hope we can get rid of the useless a$$hat Casey as well.

I’m in SW Pa too (Indiana County). I see many more Romney signs as well, though I’ve seen more Obama lately. Of course, we live in a university town so lots of lib professors. Still, our county manages to go conservative every presidential election. Lots of “Stop the war on Coal - Fire Obama” signs. They couldn’t keep them in stock at the local GOP headquarters! I couldn’t get one. Oh, some desperate obozo supporter stole my Romney sign off of my yard. It’s since been replaced. :-)) Whoever stole it can use it to cry in when the treasonous jerk occupying our White House loses!

I wasn’t sure if Romney could pull out a win in Pennsylvania by himself. But with Biden’s help, he easily can.

In CO

Early and absentee are R+3.5. In THE swing county in the state, Jefferson County, it’s R+6.5. Hard numbers.

Right, because we have paper ballots all printed up and ready to go.

They counted the ballots by hand in the Civil War because they knew ahead of time to have them PRINTED.

I am not saying the election will be delayed, but to think it won’t possibly happen is just a case of denial.

If elections are delayed due to Hurricane Sandy, will this help or hurt Obama?

The elections will not be delayed, but the weather will suppress early voting, especially in Philadelphia. The Democrats depend on early voting to get out their base. Sandy will hurt the Democrat turnout.

Mrs. lightman and I voted absentee because work hours keep us out of the district all day.

Yes, maybe an adjustment could be made but remembering ‘08 who wants to stand in line with a bunch of unwashed Øbamalemurs for an hour or longer?

Please Ping: I’ll be on “The Blaze” tonight at 6-6:30 EST discussing how we will NOT postpone or delay a national election due to a storm.

Exactly the swill I was thinking about during my original post. The thought of it alone makes my mouth taste like a cotton-ball.

I volunteered for a zombie-run last summer out there and sold beer in a beer tent. People were paying $5 for a 10oz plastic cup.
