So they just assume if they receive a dem ballot, it was a vote for Obama and a republican ballot is a vote for Romney?

Not necessarily. A lot of conservative Reagan Democrats won’t vote for Obama.

If elections are delayed due to Hurricane Sandy, will this help or hurt Obama?
I don't think you're going to see many concerns about delaying the elections.
However, what you probably WILL see is Obama being decked out in a flak jacket being air dropped into disaster areas in a desperate attempt to look like a leader.
This should knock Benghazi out of the news for the rest of the election period, and for that, I believe the O campaign will be grateful for the destruction.

How is that silly for someone to think it might be delayed. If there is no power (for machines) and people are still evacuated (can’t get to their precinct), how can the election be held?

This storm will be off the front page in a day or so. And stunts like the one you describe will be more than offset by Romney/Ryan campaign activity to provide help with volunteers and contributions.

I am registered as a dem (from 2008 to vote for Hillary to keep Obama out) and never changed back. I have sent in my absentee ballot, so when they see it, will they assume it’s a vote for Obama, cause it sure as h*ll isn’t!
To: autumnraine
The ballots can be counted by hand. It will just take longer.
We held elections during the Civil War and both World Wars. A hurricane is not going to prevent the election from taking place next week!

I believe they do...and that may turn out to be a huge error for them.
If we consider the small percentage of folks who vote for the opposite party, I believe that percentage is larger this cycle for the dems that the reps.
I'm no poll expert. However if we hypothetically say that 5% of reps will vote Obama and 8% of dems will vote Romney (just pulling the numbers out of thin air), it seems to me it would blow these early voting tabulations out of the sky.
In my hypothetical, Romney would be a few points higher than being reported.
I wonder if anybody knows what the current poll numbers are on people who are voting against their party?

It might help if Biden remembers what state he’s in.

No polling place will be without power, at least generator power.

Do they open the absentee ballots before election day?Not in PA if there is a poll watcher on site.
If no one is watching, those demonRAT liars, cheaters and thieves will not only open them, but they will destroy any pubbie ballots and re-vote them as demonRAT. It is crucial to have poll watchers in any demonRAT strong hold.
I go into the belly of the beast, can't say where because I have my little friend with me and I don't want any upfront grief.
The place where I spend the day isn't safe, even if you have a friend with you and they wish I wasn't there but I'm too stubborn to die and let them have their way {at least for this election}. demonRATs are not real Americans, they are communists and when Romney/Ryan win, there will be a reaction unlike anything we have ever experienced over a political election.

That is why I believe relying too much on these absentee ballots if foolish. I think quite a few dems will vote for Romney and can’t imagine many republicans voting for Dumbo.
To: Perdogg
Please send Biden. Biden needs to travel every county in PA and campaign. The Obama campaign needs to run videos of Biden’s debate performance. We need Biden 24/7 until Election Day.

If PA goes to the GOP this cycle, I will personally drive to Cranberry Township (suburban Pittsburgh) and drink some of that swill they call Pennsylvania beer.

And people thought when we pointed this out in OH that it was just a clever diversion. We saw something here that is being manifest in Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, and now Pennsylvania.
And remember, the "indies" are a strong subgroup and if they are---as all surveys indicate---going to Romney by even a few percent, it's going to be a very long election night for the "mmmm mmmm mmm" crowd.

If elections are delayed due to Hurricane Sandy, will this help or hurt Obama? The elections are not going to be delayed. Already the sun is coming out in New England and everybody's headed back to work. NY/NJ were hardest hit but they should be getting back to normal over the next day or so.
