What is it like to spend your last moments on earth fighting for your life?
To have devoted your life, and your life's work, to a great nation -- to serve it well and honorably -- and serve for it with courage and distinction, to all come down to a last, frantic few seconds, spent defending you and your fellow Americans and call for the cavalry to come help, and no cavalry comes--and you die.
This is what the two former Navy SEALs, under the employment of CIA, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, faced in their final moments in Benghazi on September 11, 2012.
It is not a question of could we have sent forces in to help.We could. We could have sent forces to help as they were within a few hundred miles. This battle of Benghazi was a protracted fight - covering at least six to eight hours (depending on when you start the clock). And, if the forces were not there, on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, then there is an additional level of leadership failure that must be examined. However, the appearance is that there was forces available.
This is what we now stand for now, as a nation? To have invested billions in intelligence and special operations forces to hang back, play it safe?
To have general officers serve NOT as "Monday morning quarterbacks" but as "Monday morning apologists" for the WH saying "it was just too hard" or "the uncertainty was a key factor" - are you kidding me? Conventional thinking obtains you conventional (and in this case tragic) results - four dead Americans.

The duration of this fire fight is said to have lasted over 7 hours.. An agonizing 7 hours for the SEALs. It’s never too late for the SEALs to take our country back!! A mission on the White House is in order. Hmmmmm, maybe this is why 0bama left the White House so soon after he decided to leave a few SEALs to die.

If you’re mad about this now, hopefully, you’ll be furious in a couple of minutes. What if Benghazi wasn’t just incompetence on Obama’s part? What if it wasn’t even liberal/Democrat ideology over-running common sense? What if four Americans died because Obama and his buddies wanted to make some money? Would that steam you? Everyone is angry about Benghazi, and rightfully so. But what were we doing in Benghazi to start with? Why did Obama use United States money, Soldiers, equipment and facilities to overthrow the government that controlled Benghazi? Go look at illinoispaytoplay.com. Obama had our forces attack Libya so that him and his buddies could make money. Those four Americans died because Obama wanted to put some cash into his and his buddies pockets. Are you furious now? You should be. This isn’t partisan politics, this is crimes against humanity. Innocent people always get killed in war. Innocent people have been killed to put money in Obama’s pocket. It’s a crime against humanity. There is no presidential pardon for that.
Suspicious? It is not news that Obama and the Turkish PM are close friends. So why did Turkey turn the suspected consulate terrorist, Harzi, over to the authorities in Tunisia rather than to the US? To date, our people have been denied access to him for questioning. Bolton stated that several years ago, he would already be in Guantanamo and he would be talking. I have to wonder, DID OBAMA ARRANGE FOR THIS GUY TO BE SENT BY TURKEY TO TUNISIA thus MAKING HIM UNAVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONING by the FBI?
The response to that is if they had stood down there would be 20+ dead Americans.
