How is it that Reagan carried California twice and Obama enjoys a 15 point advantage?

Drugs in the water supply?

I will give some $ tonight, anyone who can, should...but access to the site has been so poor, I sure hope the money gets put to use so the site will work on election night.

Thank you FreeRepublic for one heck of an election cycle... Couldn’t have made it this far without you.

Actually Romnay just might get California. They passed into law the National Popular Vote in which they give all of their electoral votes to the person who wins the national vote. If Romney wins the national vote then California by law is supposed to give their electoral college votes to Romney. There are 8 states total that passed the National Popular Vote law — all liberal states. I bet the chickens won’t do it though!

The law doesn't become effective in any state, however, until states totalling 270 EV pass it. They're nowhere close to that...and it will likely never happen.

California casts its EV for Obama.

If CA is won by Obama by only a 4-7 pt margin it will be a miracle.

How is it that Reagan carried California twice

As recent as 04, a million more Californian's voted for Bush than did Texans...After Bush, I would guess people just got tired of being betrayed and lied to over and over and over. Bush was so bad, a Communist block captain out of Chicago replaced him.

How is it an alleged conservative state like Tx, can cough up some of the worst presidents in U.S. history, with not only the likes of LBJ, but two Bush's?
