Well, if there was an interest in having this kitty run for public office, could not hurt, besides, at least the cat is of good charactor. :)=^..^=

Yep. This is how seriously we take our right to vote these days. I remember the first elections in Iraq post-Saddam, reading about how people lined up for hours to vote and wouldn’t even move when gunfire was going off nearby. Remember those pictures of them with their purple fingers, how proud they looked to have voted?

And what do we do here? Throw our votes away on jokes.

It’s disheartening.

That having been said, Hank is a gorgeous cat, which means he does have one qualification to be a Senator—which is, of course, perfect hair.

Oh Hank! I have been a fan of yours for the last year or so. I even have your bumper sticker on my car.

I wrote in Hank’s name for Senator. I’m in NJ. I was stuck between the horrible choice between a “douche and a turd sandwich”. Maybe I threw away my vote. I don’t know. Voting is something important to me, I’ve volunteered for several politicians campaigns over the years and as much as I hated the idea of “throwing away my vote”, the idea of voting for either choice for senator this year, neither man could hold a candle to Hank.

I will tell you this much about Hank. Right now, he and his humans are in NJ going to various animal shelters that have been hit by Sandy and helping out. Getting food and shelter to the displaced dogs and cats. He is going to one shelter today that is special to me. The shelter where I adopted my cat (and best friend) from. He’s doing more today than most politicians are doing for the humans displaced by Sandy. Go Hank Go - you might be the best our country has for 2016.

Hank would have been SUCH an improvement over Tim Kaine.

Posters get upset about people throwing their votes away on a gag candidate.

What’s the worst that could have happened with a pet cat in office?

He’s not enacting any new taxes or restrictions. He’s not gumming up Anything more.

Government Shutdown. And the gullible have a few years to figure out exactly Where their previous stupid and selfish votes landed them, before their continued shortsightedness breaks even More of society.

We get 2 honest politicians for every 98 crooks and those 2 can’t get ahead of the damage the 98 do. At least the cat would slow things down.
