I don’t think Christies ego will allow him to be one of 100 in the senate. And if Newark Mayor Cory Booker runs for Gov. Christie is toast. He will have nowhere to go but down.

The RINOs didn’t choose Romney because he was a liberal northeastern governor. They chose him because he was the most electable RINO available, tried and tested in 2008 and with his own money to sweeten the pot if anyone expressed doubts.

Christie will never get to where Romney was in 2008 if he runs in 2016. He’ll be Jon Huntsman, out after New Hampshire.

Not to worry. Jeb Bush is waiting in the wings. It’s his turn.

(If conservatives don’t start getting their act together to organize an alternate party, we will be screwed again.)

Christie will be lucky if he lasts even four years.

A high pressure job combined with morbid weight will shortly lead to heart, stroke, high blood pressure, type 2530 diabetes, failing knees, fallen arch support.....or any combination of the aforementioned.

Yep, Jeb 2016 and they are getting ready to tear the Texas Republicans apart trying to get Jeb’s son in office— I am guessing as Governor.

Oh, come on now, in 2016 you know the GOP establishment boys'll be signing on to FreeRepublic to browbeat you about supporting Christie just like they did this year with Romney! It'll be Armageddon all over again unless you do!

They can browbeat all they want, but they can just kiss my hairy @$$.

90 minutes was all it took for Obama to look good and Christie to look stupid. Obama’s been reelected, Christie still looks stupid and people in New Jersey can’t get gas, can’t get water, and they are digging through trash cans.

My wife said she’d like to see some kid come up and knock Christie’s ice cream cone from his hand and watch him stand their and bawl. Then obama would pick it up, pick a few pieces of crap off of it, like used chewing gum The he’d hand it to Christi and Christie would wipe his tears and start licking on it again.

“Remember also that fat boy faces re-election as governor next year. If he runs and loses, he’s finished.”

If Newark mayor Corey Booker decides to run against Christie next year, there’s a very good chance he will win.

Booker is an up-and-coming ‘rat.
Christie is (after his cavorting with Obama) a washed-up RINO.

Well, she drives liberals crazy and that’s enough for me.

He will never see my vote.

That's the problem Andrei and Verga. I would say the same thing. But in 2016, if the GOPe nominates him (and, yes, they do the nominating) to run against, say, Reverend Wright or a Muslim, what are you going to do? It's similar to voting for the insane idiot, McCain, or for Romney.

... the public first realizes ...

There’s the problem. The public “realizes” only through our media.

Um they already nominated a Jerimiah Wright/ mooselimb and he got in in spite of my best effort.

Fornicate them.

Coulter is NOT a conservative’s friend ... She follows the RINOs around like a puppy. She's an inside the beltway Republican(D).

I've been watching Ann, waiting for her to issue a full apology for her gushing infatuation with Christie.

So far, she has made some baby steps in that direction - but not enough for me to consider buying her new book.

Ann's problem is that she fell for Christie's "tough-talking" schtick. And that's all it is, schtick.

Those of us in NJ who know Christie's political origins have not been surprised -- we knew he had feet of clay long ago.

>>As much as I hate what he did...., this will probably all be forgotten soon enough 4 years from now.<<

Are you kidding? CHRIS CHRISTIE will be largely forgotten in 4 years.

He was the “flavor-of-the-day,” whose claim to fame was being a sassy loudmouth.

Now his mouth has done him irreparable damage.

I for one am tired of holding my nose and voting for the party. This was the last time for me. I’ll vote the state candidates, but a RINO president, never again.

Don’t you think the uninformed Republican primary voters would just as soon turn to Jebbie in 2016? He does have the required familiar name.

Well another hard lesson learned..... which is.......

It’s not wise to turn these men into some kind of rock star (put them on a pedastal). All men have feet of clay. All are prone to mistakes and weaknesses.

Avoid making rock stars out of these people and that will save much grief in the future. :-/

Totally agree verga... THIS was the important election. What is going to be done in the next 4 years is going to be more than heartbreaking. 2 Supreme Court justices??? And it will be nearly impossible to undo the harm done.
