I buy a box or 2 of ammo everywhere I am that I can buy ammo. Filled another .50 Cal box just since last Tuesday.
Seem to find myself in those kind of places more and more these days.
Let freedom ring!
Wished I had the money

Filled another .50 Cal box with .40 S&W just since last Tuesday.
Already have several handguns, and a Mossberg 12 GA. I'm looking for something that can "reach out" just a bit further for home/property defense. Grand-Dad's 30-30 lever action saddle gun is nice, but a bit slow in rate of fire and short on magazine capacity. I happen to live in a State that allows 30 round magazines so... Hope to have one before Christmas!
I see it as an investment in my future.
If the SHTF...ammo will we worth way more than cash per pound
I went to the gun store on Sunday to buy another gun, they were almost out of stock which really surprised me. When I spoke to the manager, he mentioned that their sales have doubled since the day after the election. I didn’t buy enough ammo, called them today and of course they are out of ammo..... I spent a couple of days last week looking for ammo at a large dept store different locations and of course they are not able to keep ammo either...
I have to admit that I have helped create the low stock as I have purchased 3 guns in the past 3 weeks...
and the Jury
I bought an AK-47 on Nov. 7th as my second vote, only because they’re so hated...and I might actually need it in defense some day.
Buying another AR 15 tomorrow, a colt 6721 hbar. I was going to wait, but I am starting to see prices rise and model availability dry up. Just a few days ago, this one site was offering a S&W ORC AR15 for $670 plus $100 rebate from manufacturer. This has been the advertised price of that model for a couple of months now. Yesterday, it was raised to $750. Today, they are all gone. I am getting the colt now and calling it a day. Fortunately, I have a lot of ammo, but I am going to get some more soon also.
Just curious. I see both as good home defense tools.
Buy RGR stock. It has another 30% run left. Its very cheap. IMHO.
Just be prepared to register each box. Also, be prepared to become a criminal if you hoard more that 500 rounds of each calibre. (One good day at the range). Yes I agree. Always be a buyer.
No doubt, to include .22s. I can see it in the local paper now...."subject had 'thousands of rounds of ammo'" in a half dozen 525 value pacs from Wally Whirled
As an aside, anyone else notice that Smith and Wesson M&Ps seem to get dirtier than Glocks for roughly the same number of rounds fired?
In my case, I just put an AR and a .45LC Ruger Vaquero up for consignment sale at the local gun shop. The AR is an original (pre-ban) Colt CAR-15-SP1 (complete with original owners manual AND bayonet lug!). I finally had to get rid of it because I'm left handed, and every time a case is ejected it hits my glasses (no forward assist or case deflector.)
I may be the only one in the US "selling." Hopefully there will be some interest in them.
