Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer on Tuesday said the White House used David Petraeus’s affair to get the CIA director to give testimony about the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that was in line with the administration’s position on the matter.

Did you know she campaigned for that communist pig in Massachusetts who knocked off the RINO loser Scott Brown? Ubama tapped Petraeus as head of CIA for a reason. The reason is that Ubama knew Petraeus is as corrupt as he is, and willing to do anything he was told.
I wouldn't give Petraeus any credit. He'll lie through his teeth.

His testimony hangs like the Sword of Damocles over the regime's head. If the new DCIA lies all Petraeus has to do is say so, they will have to call him or kill him. Things are so bad the only out the regime has is to admit to utter incompetence and lack of knowledge.

1) Only the POTUS can authorize a CBA (cross border authority) command for a rescue mission in a foreign nation.
Plus Fact Two:
2) No rescue mission was attempted.
Equals Fact Three:
3) 0bama turned his back on 41 State Dept. and CIA employees refusing to issue a CBA command and went to bed so he could go to Las Vegas the next day.

I would say that Obama could get away with being caught with a live boy or dead girl, but what democrat couldn't?
I can't even imagine something a democrat senate would convict him of. He could start killing people and piling the bodies in the oval office and the worst they would do is increase the budget for air fresheners.

I think that without this resignation the whole Benghazi thing might have gone away, what with the president winning re-election. I think that this new DCIA (left holding the bag) is forced to tell the truth. Maybe Petraeus turns out to be a hero in this.
I firmly believe that will be the case. He was the one that was betrayed, and now I hope he gets his ounce of revenge.

I agree with you Annie. I also notice that there is a profound drubbing of Petraeus by FR Class 2008-2009 posters on these threads. Come to think of it, there are a lot of the same posting from thread to thread re: the election as well. Psy Ops from the dimwit underground perhaps.
I noticed the same thing......seems to be packed with some dis information/rumors as well.
I don't know much about military life, only what my years have shown me. Generals do not get to be Generals if they are Cowards, and they do not like humiliation & disgrace to their uniform.
Until further notice, I will stick by Gen. Petraeus.
Of course the right thing to do would be to tell the truth but he's already lied in front of congress.
