I remember the concern when it was determined that Russian intelligence knew about Monica before the American public did; who knows what that cost us.

Anyone doing business with Red China deserves what they get (lead-painted toys, theft/counterfeiting, etc.); despite all of the stories about Red China emerging as an economic powerhouse, it is still a Third World toilet lacking basic sanitation. Even the USSR had a remarkable modernization program between 1921 and 1940; the problem was that it had a similar price to that of Red China (mass murder, enslavement of the population, complete government control).

I have a friend working in Red China now (tech stuff); she describes stuff that would make you gag (and it is done in plain sight of Westerners). Workers mopping the floor of a restaurant, then mopping the tabletops with the same mop/slime water; they also spit EVERYWHERE. They are trying to conduct a “civility campaign” to stop that (it may be pollution related).
