Lets try to condemn the police for their intentional trampling of our rights.Yes lets do that. The officers trespassed upon his property; they assaulted him and kidnapped him. Three direct actions that trampled his rights. The police have no duty and are not responsible to protect anyone. You live in a fantasy world if you think so.

Is it too much Kaczynski time in Alaska? Clearly, rationality is not your strong suit. Please try to keep the discussion about the topic without the personal jabs. I’ll give you that neither of us was there for this one. I have been there for others, both as a fireman and as a cop. Not all choices are easy and not everyone is looking to screw with a person’s rights.
On a side note, I really have huge problems with the dog shooters. Those guys are on some kind of power trip. I’ve been taste tested on several occasions. None ended in dog casualties.

Since you seemed to deliberately misinterpret it, my point was that, your hysteria aside, the cops would not be held responsible for the guy's actions, even if they ended in his demise, just because they didn't stop him.
It's called "freedom."
An alien concept, I know.

“Taking the job of a union firefighter is a serious offense.”
You have that right! Cops and Firemen, both union goons, only difference is the color of their uniforms.

A man was tasered by police after he picked up his garden hose and attempted to stop a fire spreading that was threatening to engulf his home. Must've been a union job he was doing.
Tazering a man with a live water hose in his hands. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?

Details details worked out fine for the cops.

Ive lost almost all respect for the institutions I grew up believing good. Yeah. Don't ever say the public schools are a failure. Their sole purpose has always been to make us revere authority. They were wildly successful.
