One of the stranger aspects of the strangest scandal of the year is a little less murky with the discovery of a photo of FBI Special Agent Frederick W. Humphries, shirtless, with his arms around two shirtless dummies.
Humphries reportedly sent the photo to dozens of friends and acquaintances, the Seattle Times reported, including Tampa socialite Jill Kelley, one of the women at the center of the scandal that led to the resignation of Gen. David Petraeus as director of the CIA last week.
The photo, also sent to a Seattle Times reporter in 2010, was mean to be "a tongue and cheek joke" shared with friends. The photo shows Humphries after a SWAT practice, posing in between two shirtless, bald dummies. The dummies share an uncanny likeness with the Humphries, prompting the caption "Which One's Fred?"

The picture was part of a long standing inside joke between the Humphries family and the Kelley family. It was sent two years ago.
It’s been said that agent Humphries single-handily thwarted two terrorist attacks that would have happened on American soil. If this is true, he is an unsung American hero.
Rush claimed this guy is a conservative, and that’s one reason the administration wants to discredit him.

If centering his reelection campaign on appearances on Leno, Letterman, et. al., and making America such a laughing stock among its enemies doesn't qualify him as a comedian/joker I don't know what would.

I agree. From all the articles you got the impression that the FBI agent sent a personal picture to the Kelley woman, insinuating of some sexual nature.

They deleted my thread when I posted the pic..Go figure
Here is some new info
"During last year's FBI citizens academy, which Kelley attended, Natalie Shepherd, a reporter with Channel 8 in Tampa, was one of two media representatives also invited. Among the 30 people on the list was the head of the host committee for the Republican National Convention, a vice president of security for Walt Disney Corp., and the Hillsborough County tax collector.
"She's the only person on the list who's just listed as her name," Shepherd said. Each Tuesday evening session at the local field office covered a different topic, such as domestic terrorism, international terror or cybercrime. Shepherd said agent Humphries led one talk about Afghanistan.
Shepherd recalled Kelley as attentive and inquisitive, but otherwise low-key especially given recent revelations.
"She wasn't dropping names or alluding to those connections at all," she said. "She seemed like one of the normal people in the class."
The FBI did not immediately return a call requesting information on Kelley and the class." Read more: http://www.sfgate.com/news/us/article/Socialite-s-climb-halted-by-unfolding-scandal-4033354.php#ixzz2CL6APpgI

The best part of the photo... I do believe one of those guitars is a “Guitar Hero” controller, not a real guitar :)

They made it sound so creepy, when it’s just a harmless clean joke. The dummies look more like Michael Chiklis though.

Indeed. A local report quoted an FBI superior concerned about leaks about one of his guys.

from what I've heard he really is an outstanding agent. I can accept it was used as a joke as he really does resemble the firing range dummies. I see nothing wrong with the photo and suggest this has been taken out of context big time.

After laughing out loud on these Paula threads so often, I had to give back a little. :)
