Recount early votes in Patrick Murphy-Allen West race
Palm Beach Post ^ | November 16, 2012 | Andrew Marra

“I’m not perfect,” St. Lucie County Elections Supervisor Gertrude Walker said Tuesday. “Neither is my staff.” Given the events of the past week, it’s hard to disagree. Because of her office’s flawed handling of last week’s election, uncertainty hangs needlessly over Patrick Murphy’s stunning defeat of Rep. Allen West. Ms. Walker was stating the obvious when she admitted fallibility at a news conference, as reported by TCPalm.com. But when you’re overseeing a congressional election whose margin of victory is less than 1 percent, there isn’t much room for error.

Yep, the rallies are beginning about now at the elections office and later at the courthouse.

That's not the point that I was making.

The point is that Webster in Maine was not lying when he told a Portland TV station that:

in rural Maine towns, "dozens of black people" unknown to local officials showed up to vote on election day.

Given that these "dozens of black people" may have been Somalis who recently moved up there, where was Webster lying???

““I’m not perfect,” St. Lucie County Elections Supervisor Gertrude Walker “

We're not even discussing perfection. I think we're choosing between woefully incompetent and intentionally fraudulent.

This is unreal. Too bad no one is looking into what they did with Obama votes.

There are about 5,000 ballots in St Lucie with only the Presidential race blacked out and nothing else -- not even the House and/or Senate races that were likewise hotly contested -- out of 125,000 ballots.

I wonder if somebody could compare that with other districts in Florida and/or elsewhere to see how common that is or if that is just plain old fashioned ballot box stuffing that never raises an eyebrow anymore.

If there was not massive voter fraud the commissioner in charge of voting in St Lucie County would insist on a complete and total recount of the early votes. This would eliminate any hint of fraud.

Right now this is not only about Allen West’s stolen election. The commissioner knows she has a damn good chance of going to jail if a complete and honest recount is done.

He was calling it voter fraud but if they lived there and voted legally (for O I assume) then that is not true. Your point is he just made a mistake?

There was no reason pointing this out if he wasnt claiming fraud. Crying voter fraud when you have little or no evidence of it is a sign of bad character either way.

thanks, for being an "eyes-on-the-spot" reporter...
See Media, If you could just report what is happening (truthfully) you'd be called an

Your point is he just made a mistake?

He referred to what happened as "possible voting irregularities" that need to be looked into. Are you against that???

If somebody reports possible vote fraud is he a pariah???

No wonder there is no vote fraud ever prosecuted. Those who suspect it are afraid to report it because they won't be welcome to the party.

According to the article:

Webster said he has identified five "pockets" of the state where he has concerns about voting irregularities. He would not identify those areas, but said he plans to mail "Thank You" cards to all of the newly registered voters. If a large number of cards are returned because the addresses are invalid, Webster said, he will know he is on to something.

Is he a pariah for doing this too???

whose making sure this is being done in Ohio, Wisconsin, Colorado and Pennsylvania?

This is just a snapshot of what is going on in hundreds of precincts around the country, I'm afraid.

Party chairman.

He gets a list of those who voted and their party affiliation and is in a great place to start an investigation.

And yes he is pariah for making these public statements to cover his failures as chairman. His successful intent can be seen on this thread with so many comments declaring a crime being acted based on his public statements.

Trying to stir up trouble by making public charges with no evidence is not ‘reporting it’, its sleazy. It's Trump like and it covers for real election fraud as the ‘Boy who cried Wolf’ covered for the wolf

When I read about legal GOP observers being forced out of precincts and that they didn't dig in and fight on the spot it sickens me.

What the Hell were they thinking?

Are you a mind reader???

It sounds to me as if he is just doing his job as party chairman that so many others around the country are not doing for fear of being singled out like he is.

Is he a pariah for sending out the postcards to check on voter registrations???

Should party chairmen in battleground states do the same thing in Ohio, PA, Wisconsin, Fla, VA or are they going to be accused of looking for excuses as well???

RE “It sounds to me as if he is just doing his job as party chairman that so many others around the country are not doing for fear of being singled out like he is. ‘

If he didnt want attention then he should stop trying to cause trouble with nonsense like this crying Wolf publically. Being right means never having to say you are sorry.

RDE :’Is he a pariah for sending out the postcards to check on voter registrations??? “

I made this perfectly clear in the comment that you are responding too: He should investigate first and make public statements claiming fraud last. So you are posting nothing but empty rhetoric with this.

And most of them were from Dems.

So now you are claiming that an ex-R party chairman will make a public apology because a few angry Dems called him.

You dont sound the least bit serious with some of your replies, same with your rhetorical questions that you know I was clear on in the comments you respond to.
