Rubio is awful. Charismatic, charming, Latino. What has he done to protect and defend the Constitution? I HVE seen him championing the UN and ther’s a picture of him with “Socialite” Jill kelley and Co. Or Broadwell, whoever of that crew.

He is not . . .

Oh, well.

I agree. I’m very disappointed in this from the GOP. Considering these are people who were all for Romney, throwing him under the bus for stating the ugly truth is just low.

let me just say that if this is the first step these men

And then it's a second and third step and then it's 'he's the only one who can...'.

Obviously these guys believe in free gifts. I could care less but to backstab after the election - these guys exposed who/what they really are, IMO.

Oh don’t worry about it. They simply want two Democrat parties instead of just the miserable tax, borrow and spend one we have now!!!

I have a feeling that the GOP will pick Rubio.

we are in deep trouble with his views on taxes, immigration and being Jeb Bush's pick anyway..If he were a true conservative, we've have a winner. Why are they going moderate safe after a crushing defeat to a Marxist leader. (head to desk)

[Just saw this online:]

Romney was technically correct in his statement that 47% pay no income tax. He was strategically incorrect by saying that he’s “not concerned about them.” What he should have said is something like this: “Unlike the President, who appears to be SO UNCONCERNED with 47% of our population that he wants to keep them dependent on the other 53% who pay income tax, I want to offer that 47% the kind of helping hand they are actually crying for, but to which the President remains deaf: they are crying to be self-reliant! They are asking for their dignity back by means of productive work in the private sector where they are beholden to no one but themselves and the markets they serve! Our President said that he wants to “transform America.” I want to transform AMERICANS: from dependent to independent. From VICTIM to VICTOR.”

[Just wondering if that would have been a more politic way of phrasing the same truth.]

I think they are thinking that you can’t get a loser’s vote that wants stuff for free by telling them, “YOU ARE A LOSER THAT WANTS STUFF FOR FREE AND ARE A BIG PART OF OUR PROBLEM”.

So what is their solution then to this?
Should be to limit the saftey net programs to all but the elderly and disabled, the rest have to be short term.
We also need to greatly reduce government employees and their costs to the taxpayer.

Again, since unions give billions upon billions to Democrats every two years for elections, how are we supposed to defeat THAT without calling it what it is? “An exchange of donations for extreme pay and benefits”...

Then you have the teacher’s union and professors at colleges from Junior colleges up brainwashing the kids into voting for bonds, props and Presidents that are disasters for our country and budget. So what is the answer to dealing with that without calling that what it is?

COME ON>>>> This is retarded IMO.

Rubio knows that the GOP-e will DESTROY any Conservative who stands on Principle, and like so many others, caves in to get Funding.

The ONLY ones who have stood up to the GOP-e seem to be Sarah Palin and Herman Caine.....and you KNOW how they were assaulted and pummeled by the State-Run-Media, AND the GOP-e, and that's because they FEAR Conservatives rising up and telling it like it is. I've already seen Bobby Jindal jumping the shark, to avoid being attacked.

I’m afraid American conservatism will be like British conservatism: just a degree or two to the right of the true left.

This entire show is ridiculous. The republicans have the American message and just refuse to expand on that and take that message to the American people. It's like they really do not want the power back. How many years are we to put up with this..another election it will be too late. I don't think they are going to change. Come on..they could not even find the will to beat Obama after we all know that he's deliberately changing our country for the worse. Each election cycle, we are losing more of our voters who have given up/lost faith in this party. Warning signs everywhere. They have to change and come out fighting..I mean tough (not extreme) Fighting Obama every inch every moment of their lives.

Had a facebook friend that was against Obama way back in the primaries...but she fell for the “war on women” thing and was convinced that Romney and the GOP were going to ban all contraceptives and try to take away women’s vote. She’s here in Idaho so didn’t really matter much cause Romney still carried 65%...but I know there were more like her out in the battleground states where it mattered most.

FUMR. Only an AH would call voters who he needs (and didnt get) to elect him moochers while claiming he is winning when he is really losing. He is a disgrace.

Romney lost against a Dem POTUS who has a bad economy. He deserves our utter contempt.

Way too many here drank the Romney Koolaid. Basic rule : Don’t get high on your own supply. Don’t start believing your own BS.

2012 Result
Expecting voters to know what’s going on and their reliance on MSM is just part of why our great loss. While there are examples of fraud which may close up the gap, the gap is too big to blame the loss on fraud ...Expecting GOP E’s to address media bias or Romney to call Obama a congenital liar or even point out that the fact and figures released by the white house were allways questionable is another Let alone call him a “socialist”.. But the fault lies really in the messaging the Republican campaign came up.choking on political correctness parameters or triping over past positions on global warming and Romneycare both of which were bread and butter issues. .Then busy responding to pseudo positions devised by the demo-com party and echoed by their hand maiden camp followers in the media allowing them to set the agenda ..

Romney ran a “Johnny One Note Campaign”. Used a poison dart blow gun when he should have used a cannon loaded with grape shot because he had pleanty of stuff he could fill that cannon barrel with..

They failed to hammer away on what will happen when Obama gets returned; The Obama past due 2013/14 Tax Increases. The impact of Obama’s gagging energy.resources.(a socialist construct never branded as such) with policies requiring reliance on intermittent sources wind and solar and that resulting in massive corruption .,restricted use of drilling, and coal ,bans and on fracking, and resulting prices doubling on everything.. This was a bread and butter issue which reached into every “demographics” pocketbook including accepting the demo-com definition of hyphenated African-Hispanic -Americans . .The impact of Supreme Court Appointments.. 18,000 new IRS agents and on and on. . Some were very briefly touched most weren’t and Benghazi/ foreign policy was left to languish. Then there is Obama’s personal extravagance and behavior refusing to visit Nashville after its disaster showing up at New Orleans after Mitt visited it. Even after the Christi thing if that was brought up it would have blunted the impact.

Instead we got a sales pitch on executive ability but not the reason why one should toss the old model and buy his. That print and tv pitch , 20 million new jobs, was given a discrarded dose of skepticism .

In addition Rove who I understand was handling the Charter PAC senate campaign played games. His material never warned voters that IF OBAMA GETS RE-ELECTED AND SENATE CONTROL REMAINED . .. OBAMACARE AND ALL THE TAX INCREASES THAT GO WITH IT WILL NEVER GET REPEALED Let alone tie into or cover the formentioned grape shot which would have perhaps changed that body. I don’t recall any of that material directed toward that fact.

Finally they didn’t believe the polls which turned out were dead on. Not setting up focus groups which could have looked into what’s going on . Even to the point of going out to local eateries and bars and eavesdrop into conversations and pick up on topics being discussed.(chat rooms twitter too contrived) They would have learned their turnout projections were off and the sence of urgency to get out the vote was diminished by their glowing projections and disbelief never mind ORCA which should have been tested. COMPLACENCY WAS ENCOURAGED BY THE MEDIA AND NOT COUNTER ACTED UPON

Our local small population (-8000) rural blue county GOP had at the outset good and growing attendence at their meetings 50 plus. At the meeting the Thursday before the election only about a dozen people showed up and I knew we were in trouble .

Nuts...This loss is inexcuseable, while I trully don’t believe Mitt Romney would ever continence losing, I’m begining to believe that most GOPE’s really didn’t want to see AHCA, (affordable health care act) otherwise known as ZerO care go ..
