JUST 333,000 VOTES IN 4 SWING STATES WOULD HAVE GIVEN ROMNEY THE PRESIDENCY
Breitbart ^ | 11/18/2012 | MICHAEL PATRICK LEAHY

Posted on 11/19/2012 7:42:07 AM PST by SeekAndFind

On November 6, 2012, 3.2 million fewer Americans voted for Mitt Romney than President Obama. 61.8 million Americans voted for Obama, while only 58.6 million voted for Romney.

Despite losing the popular vote 51% to 48%--not a landslide for Obama by any means, but on the other hand not the “neck and neck” outcome many predicted--Mitt Romney would be President today if he had secured 333,908 more votes in four key swing states.

The final electoral college count gave President Obama a wide 332 to 206 margin over Romney. 270 electoral college votes are needed to win the Presidency. Romney lost New Hampshire’s 4 electoral college votes by a margin of 40,659. Obama won with 368,529 to Romney’s 327,870.

Romney lost Florida’s 29 electoral college votes by a margin of 73,858. Obama won with 4,236,032 to Romney's 4,162,174.

Romney lost Ohio’s 18 electoral college votes by a margin of 103,481. Obama won with 2,697,260 to Romney’s 2,593,779

Romney lost Virginia’s 13 electoral college votes by a margin of 115,910. Obama won with 1,905,528 to Romney’s 1,789,618.

Add the 64 electoral college votes from this switch of 333,908 votes in these four key states to Romney’s 206, remove them from Obama’s 332, and Romney defeats Obama 270 to 268.

Overall, voter turnout was down, from 131 million in 2008 to 122 million in 2012. Obama won 7.6 million fewer votes than he did in 2008, and Romney won 1.3 million fewer than McCain in 2008.

Romney improved his vote total's over McCain's by the slightest amount in three of these four states, but in Ohio, he actually had 81,000 fewer votes than McCain in 2008.

What do these facts tell us?

Nice try, but he was talking about the republican primary not the general election.

And 600 votes in FL in 2000 would have given Al Gore the Presidency.

This means nothing. I see we are letting the pundits keep us in the mud. Time to crawl out and be Conservatives.

And, spread that out over a whole lot of inner city precincts, and suddenly you can see just how easy voter fraud stole the presidency.

Yes, it is obvious that the country has more takers than producers. The problem is the huge cities have negated the effect of the EC by swinging their States via the winner take all provisions of most States. The ‘burbs and rural areas have been effectively muzzled. Just look at the map by county. I feel for the conservative people who live in States with huge cities, they are voiceless. JMHO

The Virginia Board of Elections website shows the vote totals as:
Obama: 1,971,777
Romney: 1,822,466
Difference: 149,311

Not sure if the other state totals from this article are also inaccurate.
149,311 is still within the margin of cheating, but let’s not embarrass ourselves by using false information.

I had a sales job in college where the intially paid me for “contacts”...so many $$ per contact. I cleaned up during that phase.

Then it got to calling those contacts and getting them to actually buy the product. (It was church education materials).

It dried up. Very few wanted to go in depth.

The number is not 333K. You need to divide it by 2 and add 1 in each state.

It's more complicated than that since the final vote not only depended on which candidate people selected, but on how many from each side came out to the polls.

If Romney was not able to turn around Obama voters he would indeed have had to come up with 333K extra votes.

There have been a lot of close elections in recent years and I wonder if one reason is because of the increasing sophistication of the election tracking methods used by the people running campaigns.

Assuming that political advertising works to some extent, let's say that accurate tracking polls show that candidate A is ahead in a certain state. Then candidate A's campaign can save on advertising costs, since they only have to be sure of winning. They don't need to pay for an unnecessary extra margin. Similarly, if they can accurately track voting on election day with exit polls, the winning side doesn't need to do any more get-out-the-vote work than necessary.

So it is possible that if candidate B does a better job, candidate A will also increase their efforts, but only by just enough to win.

If candidate B did such a good job campaigning that the polls flipped in a particular state, then the same factors would still tend to make it a close election.

Look up. The asses are the Democrats. It's their party mascot, and Romney as Governor in Massachusetts was a highly competent functional Democrat ... albeit registered in the Republican party.

Romney threatened to be a major force for transforming ALL Republicans into the same asses that Democrats are. Folks like my mom, who has probably voted for more Republicans than you and I put together, are the ones who understand that you don't get to vote "against." You only get to vote FOR, and like me, she doesn't vote for liberal Democrats, even when they're registered as Republicans.

I was wondering how to find out if I voted in places where I have lived over the past 20 years. As in, am I still a registered voter in Virginia. And a few other places.

"I thought Romney ran because he felt ENTITLED to the job as a Mormon Bishop with a planet almost in his hands. But he behaved more as if his job was to cut off the conservative candidates at the knees with lying ads, and then cave in to Obama. Who was NOT a strong candidate. Obama had nothing to recommend him but race, welfare dependency, liberal idiocy, and corrupt cheating at the polls."

Jesus H. Christ, let's say I accept your null set -- even if Romney was promising a Planet Kolob in every driveway and magic underwear in every drawer, he was LIGHT-YEARS better than Bobo...

That is up to you. I really don't think you have anything to say to me that is worth listening to.

I wasn’t arguing that. I did hold my nose and vote for him. I was just saying that I find it hard to believe that he deliberately lost to Obama, which might be one way to explain why he fought so viciously in the primary against his Republican rivals and then barely fought at all in the general election against Obama, because I think he really did want the job, since he felt entitled to it.

Romney contested the primaries harder than he contested the election.

He certainly has little to no need of the Constitutional Freedoms most of us depend upon for our careers and to support our families. He’s got “his”

“Several months ago, many here proclaimed that they would rather see Hussein re-elected than vote for Romney. They’re the ones to thank.”

Amen to that.

i hope they are happy as the America i once knew slides inexorably toward socialism. they will comfort themselves’ however, believing that America was saved from a mormon president who might have instituted one of their religious beliefs here in the United States of “obeying, honoring and sustaining the law.”

What went wrong??
How can we fix it in 2016??
Who do you support in 2016??

There won’t be anything left of America by 2016.

The time to ‘fix it’ is NOW.

Start with the election. If we let the Rats get away with this massive voter fraud, we’re no better than a bananna republic.

We must keep digging and pounding him every day, in every way we can- phony birth certificate, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, his hidden life, records....

There are massive reports of criminal activity
(not mischief, not shenanigans- CRIMINAL ACTIVITY) going on all over the U.S during the presidential election.

Reports of machines changing votes from Romney to Obama, eyewitness reports of Republican poll watchers who observed busloads of non-English speaking Somalians in Ohio being instructed to vote Obama- the list is endless.
http://www.ObamaVoterFraud.com/

Romney lost because of this, not any other reason.
Nobody could have won against the fraud planned and perpetrated by the Obama Machine.

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.

The evidence is overwhelming!
