Far-left filmmaker Michael Moore is on board with President Barack Obama's class warfare rhetoric. The documentarian only wishes the president would back it up with extreme policy positions. Moore took to The Huffington Post today to share an open letter to President Obama. It's full of fiscally ludicrous suggestions as well as the kind of rich-bashing that's part and parcel of Moore's faux Everyman shtick.
Yes, the Oscar winner is wealthier than most of the people who see his films (and has the fancy homes to prove it), but he prefers not to focus on that inconvenient fact. He's also keen on using ALL CAPS, hardly a comforting tactic for anyone who knows a thing or two about blog comments.
Among the pearls of wisdom served up by the man who bows at the altar of the Cuban health care system:
DRIVE THE RICH RIGHT OFF THEIR FISCAL CLIFF. The "fiscal cliff" is a ruse, an invention by the right and the rich, to try and keep their huge tax breaks....
END ALL THE WARS NOW. Do not continue the war in Afghanistan (a thoroughly losing proposition if ever there was one) for two full more years! Why should one single more person have to die FOR NO REASON? Stop it. You know it's wrong. Bin Laden's dead, al Qaeda is decimated and the Afghans have to work out their own problems....
I'm sure you will want to be judged on how you stood up for us, restored the middle class, ended the s***ting on the poor and made us a friend to the rest of the world instead of a threat.

Michael Moore is proof positive and conclusive, that one need not have a functioning conscience or any moral compass to do well financially in this country. All you have to do is suck up to the right money sources, and apply rudeness, rhetoric and a truly abrasive attitude to problems that have gone unsolved in Democrat-dominated areas for generations. This arena is tailor-made for spreading of false conclusions, sneering insults and demands that are impossible to respond to or fulfill in any way.
“The rich” are supposed to be remote, reactionary, and Republican, a combination that rejects every new scheme that comes down the pike. Or at least, in the Michael Moore narrative, one which he absorbed at a very early age and has never questioned.
Detroit and much of eastern Michigan have been under liberal Democrat domination for probably as long as the UAW established its suzerainty over the working class who toiled in the automobile plants that once were the primary support for the huge cash flow that aggregated to Detroit.
Most of the plants are gone now, pale shadows of the vast industrial might that once supported the city, and the devastation that befell that city, as one by one, all the proud names were driven from the scene. In the wake of this devastation, only despair and a very dark mindset remained, and though renaissance is promised again and again, it has not yet arrived.
Michael Moore, on his best day, is still a leech and scavenger.
The next republican president had better make certain that this fat bastard is audited for the past 7 years.

Moore is very wealthy, but he doesn’t want any competitors coming at his core business from below, hence his brutal hatred for those making $250,000 or more (but less than him).

I think you’re understanding the liberal mind-set. Their grand ideas are for other people b/c they’re morally and intellectually superior, w/o need of reform or change, practically perfect in every way. As such they view themselves as rulers and guides for the ‘unwashed’. Freedom to conduct ones life extends only to what they might approve. Its the same w/ their big ideas on ‘gun control’. Liberals by and large own guns in proportion to the rest of the population. Their rub w/ guns is that you can own them. If guns are ever banned you can be sure liberals will get waivers in buckets...just like OCare. You can also be certain genocide isn’t far behind.
