So if everyone skipped the turkey this year...does that mean that all those turkeys in the stores have died in vain?
What a waste.

I’d like to send Paul a message to let him know I’m taking his advice: We’re having ham and prime rib.

Paul McCartney is the only Beatle that never made a song I could stand listening to. I continue to be amazed that people buy his stuff and I especially can't imagine anyone sitting through one of his concerts.
Then again I'm a Blues fan who grew up on Rock 'n Roll, so I never understood McCartney the Beatle being so beatless.

There hasn’t been a single thing McCartney’s said or done since 1969 that I’ve seen as being worth 2 microseconds’ worth of consideration.

Paul McCartney, Obama, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Howard Dean, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, NOW, and the MEDIA all speak about respecting the rights of fish, fowl, and cattle.
But in the same breath, they fight WITH EXTREME URGENCY to protect the MURDER OF INNOCENT BABIES!

Sorry if this upsets some of you, but this is what an ABORTION does to a child. There are even more horrible photos...but I won't post them now.
For humankind...ANY human...to elevate the lives of ANIMALS while simultaneously defending the actions that kill thousands of children every year is DISGUSTING AND HYPOCRITICAL.

Maybe if vegetarians tended to be happy, healthy and well-adjusted people, I might consider what they have to say about their diet. But by and large, vegetarians seem to be an overbearing, unhappy pack of self-righteous scowls who always seem to be angry about something.
Don't need that kind of misery so pass the turkey drumstick and gravy. I prefer to be jolly.

I filled a small chest freezer with 3 whole turkeys and 7 breasts.
buy them on sale during holidays.
.75/lb whole and .98/lb breast is mighty cheap dog food for my fat-free-diet yorkie. Although it does seem a bit odd to fix an 8 pound breast for a 5 pound dog. (freeze half when I fix it.
With the potatos and carrots I grow myself, ( a third of each per serving), I can feed him for about $5-6/month.
And I have a turkey dinner once a month for myself when I fix it.
