22 percent voted for Romney....it had to be due to his economic background.

A recent Barna study showed 60 percent of Hispanics believe marriage is between one man and one woman. They are evenly split on abortion. But Charisma News reports, “54 percent identify themselves first as Hispanic or Latino before American, Catholic, or Christian.”

Spanish language ads, pushing the Church's solid stance against abortion or homosexual unions might have been effective in targeting this group and swaying them to vote GOP.

The electoral loss has some Republicans insisting the party must jettison its pro-life plank and focus on pro-family issues.

Before saying that, though, were those votes cast in districts where they would have made a difference, either in the Senate races, or in the POTUS race? It makes no sense to alienate voters on the right in swing states while catering to Hispanics leaning left in heavily Blue zones.

If someone is going courting a specific voter group, they better make sure the votes they gain are going to electorally offset the votes they will lose by abandoning core Conservative principles.

There is no more pro-family issue than the lives of its offspring.

Conservative issues tend to clump together, If you're pro-life, you are generally pro-family and anti-homosexual agenda. It is hard to reconcile otherwise, and if you are pro-family, you'd show a strong predilection toward fiscal conservatism as well.

The vast majority of the heathen population of Sodom and Gommorrah would have voted for the Dems as well. Just because the evil tide rises doesn’t mean its time for conservative patriots to hitch a ride on it.

“survey was conducted in conjunction with Gallup” : Are we supposed to believe Gallup, especially when there is no election to verify their results?

Seems they’ve buried the lead. The curious story is that somehow Romney got 25% of the gay vote.

It is unfortunate that the American people have become so Stupid! The government has no place in our bedrooms, or in our Doctors office. We were free to make those decision before people got the scewed idear that the government can decide if we can have a gay relationship, what church to go to, whether or not we can have an abortion. They are picking up speed at how fast they are coming to the point of doing all of our thinking for us. Too Late America, You voted, we all have to live with this, Thanks.

My brothers gay....he’s also a militant lefty. He was laid off 8 days after the election. I tried my best, but I couldn’t keep from laughing at him. I told him at least he can marry his hope and change.
