The Benghazi Slingshot (Obama's devotion to sharia)

The information offered by the experts suggests, to put it very simply, that the Middle East is rapidly unifying and heading toward a strict application of sharia; that sharia is a totalitarian form of government utterly incompatible with American ideas of freedom and liberty; and, as Diana West noted, U.S. policy is "making the world safe for sharia," as opposed to keeping the world, and specifically America, safe. In Benghazi, that policy proved fatal.

The Center for Security Policy panelists aren't the only thinkers to question whether this administration has an affinity for sharia. In his article "Obama knew: Did ideological soft spot for Sharia keep US government from protecting Benghazi consulate?," American Spectator's Jeffrey Lord suggests that the highest levels of the Obama administration are "in some fashion simpatico with a totalitarian ideology."

That "ideological soft spot" may explain why President Obama "can't," as Rep. Dana Rohrabacher declared, "utter the words 'Muslim terror attack.'" And far worse than words, as Frank Gaffney noted: "The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists ... [it] has been arming them[.]"

He is most definitely sympathetic to sharia, which is a total personal control mechanism that complements socialism.

If anybody thinks he worries about he and his buddies maybe having to give up their $800 bottles of champagne or having his favorite rap divas wear burqas, remember also that he sees himself as someone who will be enforcing it, not affected by it. Whether leftist or Islamist, these people always see themselves as the lords and masters who use the ideology to control others but whose own personal sphere is unaffected by it. They are the special class, the animals that are more equal than others.

Could be a dead heat. It depends on whether the freebies are collateral damage of WWIII (EMP strike).

Of course Obama is for Sharia, he is a Muslim.

He has stated he would side with Islam. That says where his loyalties lie. Of course, using the US military to depose stable and relatively benign dictatorships in North Africa in the obvious favor of the Muslim Brotherhood (and Al-Qaida, Hamas, Hizb'allah, and the rest of the Who's Who of Islamic Terrorist Organizations was a pretty strong hint, as was his obvious disdain for Israel.

When that stops, though, the stage is set for the anger to be taken out on those who have been taxed to pay for those freebies, not the people who have fostered the environment which made them necessary for many. The media continue to build that meme.

What wasn't outright stolen through voter fraud. I would think even the poor are not happy with their lot, unless they are gaming the system.

Aside form a few professional parasites, who wouldn't rather be making a living when it is obvious the gravy train is going to come to the end of the line someday soon?

Unbelievable. Changing the subject, the article contains this quote from Whitaker Chambers autobiography, “Witness”, WRITTEN IN 1952!!! -

“When I took up my little sling and aimed at Communism, I also hit something else...the forces of that great socialist revolution, which, in the name of liberalism, spasmodically, incompletely, somewhat formlessly, but always in the same direction, has been inching its ice cap over the nation for two decades.”

That means communism was beginning its control of our nation in 1932!
