Romney aides blast 'hypocrites' who asked for cabinet jobs and are now trashing him
Daily Mail (UK) ^ | November 23, 2012 | Toby Harnden

Posted on 11/24/2012 9:15:02 PM PST by Lancey Howard

Former senior aides to Mitt Romney have hit back at the 'craven hypocrites' in the Republican party who just days before the election were clamouring for jobs in a Romney administration and are now belittling him.

'There were one or two well-known figures who were late committing to support him, were the most eager to curry favour when it looked like we would win and are now out there trashing the governor.

(snip)

But the other senior adviser, who declined to be named when criticising senior Republicans, singled out Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Newt Gingrich as among those who had been quickest to lambast Romney. After Romney told donors on a post-election conference call that many voted for President Obama because he had offered them 'gifts', Jindal said Romney's comments were 'absolutely wrong'. He said: 'We have got to stop dividing American voters. We need to go after 100 per cent of the votes, not 53 per cent - we need to go after every single vote.'

That was a reference to Romney's notorious '47 per cent' comments in which he said that proportion of voters was dependent on government and would inevitably back a Democrat.

Gingrich called the 'gifts' comments 'nuts' and 'insulting' to voters.

The anonymous adviser said: 'Bobby Jindal wanted very, very much to be Vice President. He appeared publicly with Governor Romney after the 47 per cent comments, which the governor himself said were totally wrong. 'Newt Gingrich made it clear to us he wanted to be part of a Romney administration. 'Both these guys - and others - were the governor's best friend when it seemed he was on the brink of becoming our 45th President. Now they're calling him a bum. Real profiles in courage.'

Nobody betrays and back stabs, like Mitt Romney.

The cowardly draft evader, who has spent FIVE years trying to create the myth that quote, Reagan was “adamantly pro-choice”, is a freakish man.

RE :”The dems won only due to massive voter fraud.”

Really? Then how come Romney lost WI but in the very SAME election the Republicans there under Scott Walker picked up seats in the WI state Senate and House??
So Obama rigged those too to make Walker look good? How about these other swing states?

By rights, Obama should have lost the states of Virginia, Florida, Ohio and Wisconsin, all of which had Republican Governors and Republican legislatures going into the election – but he won them all. Some were closer than others, but Obama won credible victories in each state by putting in place strong voter ID and get-out-the-vote programs over the course of his first term, and working each state relentlessly.

He liked being the vague, fuzzy candidate.

You know the truth about Mitt Romney, and you know that my posts are not hyperbole, Mitt will go down in the history books as a circus freak of a candidate (when analyzed as a conservative presidential candidate).

Romney does not belong in republican politics.

A:"They only rigged the Presidential election”

LOL, How do you do that with the same ballots and same voting machines and same voters at the same time? UFOs, ESP and telepathy? Or Voodoo? That sounds like laser surgery.

Romney's aides are losers. They are libs and now making excuses for their failures.

Newt was right. Big gaffe. You never tell half of the country to go to hell no matter what-you wanted another Obama, no, thanks. You build people up, not insult them. Mitt came across as arrogant and out of touch. The Newt and Palin haters are like a cancer or maybe dressed up as conservatives. Newt has done more to lift people out of poverty. No wonder our side keeps losing.

Either you replied to the wrong poster or you have serious reading comprehension problems. I hope your problem is the former, not the latter.

Anyway, I said during the primaries I would never vote for the Massachusetts liberal and father of Mengelecare, Mittens Romney, and I didn’t. I could spot that loser a mile away.

I will also reiterate that only a fool or a moron would fall for the Democrat newsroom propaganda that Romney’s “47%” remark was a “gaffe”. I guess some people are easily led by the nose...

Romney’s “gaffe” was trying to distance himself from his own remark rather than back it up with raw data that showed that yep, the welfare / food stamp crowd was all in Ubama’s pocket. Then, and only then, did the Democrat newsrooms (and the fools who believe them) chuckle and nod that, yep, it was a gaffe alright.

So there. I responded to your post even though it made avsolutely no sense to me in the context of anything I posted. I’m pretty sure your reply was meant for somebody else.

FRegards,
LH

They only needed to fake (D) or cast out (R) less than 333,000 votes in about 4 states to swing the election. I doubt WI was one of them.

Obvious Rule #1 : Don't insult the voters before your election.

Yeah, how did Romney expect to win the votes of the welfare / food stamp crowd by insulting them?

Are you serious?

Good question. The Answer is he is stupid.

A Better question is : ‘how did anyone expect Romney to win after he insulted half the country?’

It was a terrible gaffe, what is the “raw data”, who are the 47%, what is the 47%?

Why couldn’t the freakazoid explain his own statement?

RE:”They only needed to fake (D) or cast out (R) less than 333,000 votes in about 4 states to swing the election. I doubt WI was one of them.”

So NOW you are saying that O won WI without the MASSIVE fraud that you mentioned.

Well two of the others FL and OH both have R governors as does WI.
How could that possibly happen with this ‘MASSIVE voter fraud’ system that turned same votes in those same two states to O?

You think Obama likes R governors?

That's what I've been asking! Why didn't Romney take that ball and run with it?
