RE :”I agree that Romney would have been bad, but with Obama in power, the Republicans in D.C. are scared to death of him, and Obama now knows it. This will be a disasterous 4 years.
Obama has no fear of us, and he loves Executive Orders. If our economy survives, it will be a miracle.
Obama and his thugs set everything in place to topple the economy, and rob us blind while doing it.”

Obama’s happiest day was when Bohner took the House from Pelosi and then Obama had the perfect scape-goat for everything that goes wrong.

Actually if the economy really crashes under Obama’s second term then that might get Republicans ‘back in the game’. But the Republicans gotta stop acting like they are in charge for it to work.

One of the advantages O had against R was that voters saw the Obama as inheriting a bad economy (from Republicans) and they thought it was getting better. So if Obama could be ‘seen’ as getting his way and the economy crashes then Republicans got a good argument.

No, Bohner cannot beat Dems by delaying the crash until the next POTUS

Agree.

From everything I’ve read about him, he’s a decent, honorable man. So unlike his opponent.

Romney was not my first choice in the primaries, but I fully supported him once he had the nomination. I think he ran an excellent campaign and he would have been a darned good President.

STONE COLD FACT !!

I just found these

It should be obvious that Republicans taking the House will help Obama the next two years politically as with Clinton. How much we can't know. There is no way he could win re-election with the current congress

Ironically if Republicans won both houses of congress this year, that would help Obama in 2012.

Although after this I posted that I thought that taking the House alone would not get Republicans in trouble, that they would be smart enough make voters think that O was the one in charge screwing things up, that's what holding any hope in them brings you.

A woman is abducted and staked out on the sand. The bad guy has his way with her. Hours later a cowboy rides up, and is met with her cries for help. His response... “Well little lady (as he unbuckles his belt), this just isn’t your day is it.”

Not just Romney. Boehner and company are meeting behind closed doors (funny how the GOP leaders seem to have the same goals and tactics as Dems) to plan our fate, even as we speak.

Yep, sealing our fate.
