Everyone has an opinion about the conflict between Israel and Palestinians. Some say that Palestinians started it with their rockets aimed at Israel territory, while others say that Israel was using disproportionate force and killing innocent people in Gaza. These points have been debated in the media all over the world.
We must realize that following the same paths of hatred and rage will always lead to the same results - pain for both parties, people dying on both sides and a life of fear with no ability to see the hope for the future. It is time for everyone to realize that the solution lies elsewhere.
The solution lies in adopting a humane approach based on the morals of religion. Both Judaism and Islam command love. Both parties should agree not to permit terrorist activities. ....
Palestinian Arabs need to know that firing rockets at Israel is incompatible with Islam, and that Islam is a religion of peace that forbids the killing of others. In this respect it is really hard to understand what benefit Palestinian Arabs are seeking to achieve with those rocket attacks. Firing rockets and killing people is of no advantage to them. As a consequence the Israelis say that they have the right to defend themselves and then start firing back. This mentality has never done any good for decades.
If you ask those who send the missiles what they are doing they will probably say that this is "jihad." Yes, the concept of jihad does exist in Islam. But the word "jihad" means "to strive, to make an effort". It means to approach people with love and compassion and to win them over with scientific and intellectual evidence.... .....

Well, this chap (if it’s a chap) might want to read a Koran to get a clue. Islammies aren’t SUPPOSED to be nice to “infidels.” This isn’t like the way that Jews generally try to make nice with such as Buddhists, Christians, Shintoists, and atheists.
Yup. Now some still say today that the Koran is a book fabricated by a committee, but it makes more sense to me as a more-or-less honest diary of a demented man.

I have long been under the impression there are two kinds of islam, one for the men and one for the women. I have never seen a female face in the audience of a fanatical cleric - or even listening to a cleric in a mosque, has anyone?
And why are the women so surprised (especially the daughters) when daddy cuts their throat for being seen talking to a boy, or wearing jeans or make-up for example...as happens far too often. Those who survive always act so surprised that daddy could have tried to kill them. We are inclined to think, she should have known...but what if she didn't know, what if the women are not meant to know?
Maybe what muslim women know about islam stops at mohammad's triumphant return to Mecca as depicted in the film The Message which was produced in 1977 in both an arabic and an english version, the english version starring Anthony Quinn as one of the main characters. Mohammad, whose face is of course never depicted, is none the less presented akin to the second coming of Jesus, there are shades of the Ten Commandments and after viewing all three YOUTUBE episodes, the entire fabricated story comes across pretty much as this woman describes him and islam...he's as soft as a bunny wabbit and cuddly as a kitten and full of LOVE
Don't let the title throw you, it's got nothing to do with the trailer of the same name, who-ever downloaded the film onto YOUTUBE obviously intended to deceive. Anyone interested in how the 'prophet' and his gang of butchers and looters could end up being presented as a dopple-ganger for Jesus and his disciples, needs to see this.

Everyone should pray for peace. However, peace is not the absence of conflict. If in the absence of conflict one is living in fear, is living under subjugation, is being persecuted, is hungry, living is poverty, has no job, etc. there is no peace.
