Wow — her injuries from those previous attacks were horrifying and yet the people of Mexico still did not elect her to their Congress. Being a member may have provided her with a little more protection.

Shame on those cowards. Maybe the people down there deserve their fate.

A couple of our families are planning an all inclusive trip in 7 months. Mexico has many but they will NEVER see a dime of our money. I said no way to Mexico....many other safer spots to visit.

A brave woman. I wish her government (and ours) showed as much courage in standing up to these criminal gangs.

And all the coke-snorting scum in Hollywood financed that cartel.

Terrible, what a heroine. The good ones do die young. Notice Hillary Clinton lives on as well as other female leftists I won’t bother to mention.

And whenever these drug cartel vermin need more weapons, all they have to do is whistle up their b*ttboy Eric Holder - he’ll send them whatever they want.

Tragic...

I can only hope her death will not be in vain...

Sometimes there needs to be a tipping point...

Not the first time in history drugs have almost ruined a country..

She was elected mayor of Tiquicheo in 2008 and served until 2011. During that time she defected from the Institutional Revolutionary party to the left-wing Democratic Revolution party.

I thought this was interesting. I always thought the far left were tied to the drug cartels.

A good friend of mine moved to a small town just south east of Mexico City. According to them, “it’s perfectly safe, there are guards every where”.

They wonder why we refuse to come and visit them. I wonder if the actually get any of the local news.

Reading the full article at source, one thing which is abundantly clear is that this was one seriously brave woman.

Prayers for her and her family, especially the three young sons she leaves behind.

The UK Daily Mail, yet again doing the journalistic work the American Obama Media won’t do.

I bet the Spanish-Language media will spend much more time on Macho Camacho’s death, than hers’.

I just watched part of a documentary about the Mexican drug cartels. Their power and control is astonishing. I couldn’t even watch it all after a segment about them sealing off a town at both ends while they spent three hours carrying out assassinations and the police authorities watched it all on surveillance cameras but did nothing because they were outnumbered and out gunned.
