What would I do if I were in charge? Id abolish General Order No. 1. Keep the rules that protect soldiers from sexual harassment. But allow deployed officers and troops to have sex while at war. West Point should come to its senses as well.
West Pointers and other military service members endure tremendous sacrifices. We appreciate the adoration and respect we receive. In that same spirit, I ask the public to accept and forgive our weaknesses. Its okay to be disappointed, but please dont be misled. Beneath the heavy combat gear and impressive uniform, were human, just like you.

Hey Laura,
Go to Nevada and join a brothel.
You sound like you’d be happier.
lol
Anybody seen Paula Broadwell lately?
Sounds like someone who thinks the military is a social club, joined for the government benefits.... will probably go AWOL if ordered to a war zone.
We’ve become a silly country. Bad things happen to silly countries.
Gen Petraeus approves this message.
The comments are not kind to the idiot author:

She seeks to gut the military of all the rules except the ones that please her. Geesh, it would be nice if all of life was like that. Idiot”
I was a War Virgin. 1966-1968. Vietnam. I wasn’t about to bring any STD’s home with me. Twenty five percent of the “opposites” out there can give you a disease that you will carry all of your life.
wow
Maybe Petraeus will appointed Secretary of Defense and this is part of the cover.
“Does West Point succeed in stifling one of the most basic of human urges?”
Does this pathetic POS realize that the military will order you to risk you life, in spite of “one of the most basic of human urges” - the urge to stay alive at all costs? Talk about someone who remains clueless in spite of life going on around her...
But then, someone ashamed of her “former Jesus obsession” may not have a good understanding of ANYTHING.
This idea is long overdue. I mean, like... it's umm, every woman's right to have unrestricted sex at government expense.
The military man's job is not to be a policeman, or a nation builder, or to look good in a skirt. It is to seek out, close with, and destroy the enemy. It is to outsmart and out pace so that he can kill the enemy in the most effective manner possible. It is to demoralize and destroy. It is not a job for women.
I don't care about your daughter, your neighbor's niece Sally, or some local chick you read about in the paper that you're all really proud of. I'm sure they're good at whatever it is they do and I'm happy for them.
But when it comes down to no BS killing - that is a man's job. And so long as women are near a fighting man in a combat zone, most of the men will view her job as legs in the air......unless it is strictly clerical or a nurses corps there is no place in the military for women.
I second you opinions. thanks
I agree with your agreement.
West Pointless
Jesus obssession sounds like a lame excuse to me, I honestly struggle and repent weekly at communion of letting thoughts of Jesus take a back seat to a long host of distractions. Honestly, she sounds more like she has an axe to grind with him. All I have to say is, “good luck, been there, done that, didn’t make me into a happier, better person, but I did eventually come to my senses and realize where my brain and soul were going, and turned around from there. I invite you to do the same.”
