Boulder County Canvass Board Votes Not To Certify November Election Abstract
Exerpt of Press Release from Boulder County Republican Party ^ | 26-November 2012

Posted on 11/28/2012 6:01:37 AM PST by flamberge

This morning, a majority of the citizen-led Boulder County, Colorado Canvass Board, a legally mandated election oversight board, voted not to certify the Abstract of Votes prepared by Boulder County Clerk and Recorder Hillary Hall.

The members who voted not to certify were denied an opportunity to publicly explain the reasons for their decision to the other members of the Board. The members of the Board who disagreed with the majority decision declined to review the majority's Secretary of State required report. Those same members had also declined invitations from the majority to join in discussions of potential problem resolution and report and recommendation drafting sessions.

According to Board member Dan Martin, "we were presented with voluminous information at the very end of the process, including last Friday night at 7:00 p.m. That information included a Reconciliation Report that clearly showed that more ballots had been counted than ballots cast in 40 precincts."

Board member Russ Boehm stated, "The Official Abstract showed no such precinct problems." Martin added, "Today is the deadline for our certification decision, and no explanation has been given for this anomaly, so I had no choice but to vote against certifying a clearly flawed report."

We also are distressed that authorized Watchers from all parties and issue committees were prevented from exercising their legal rights to witness and verify the steps of the election [.....]

Citizen oversight of the provisional ballot processing was prohibited by election officials."

We need more of this. Lots and lots more. If we don’t nip this in the bud now, we might was well just cancel the 2016 elections and save everybody a lot of time and trouble.

Unless some *very* heavy action is taken by Republicans soon, they won’t win the WH in 2016 with JC himself on the ballot.

And we all know they don’t have the balls to do what is required.

The Dems will win in 2016 running Alfred E Newman.

The man on the street better quit fantasizing about winning the WH and start planning his survival in the new Amerika. 2012 was not a free election and 2016 will not be either.

“In BOULDER COUNTY??? Home of the most liberal city in CO? Wow.”

Right! So don’t expect the potential fraud to be in The 0ne’s favor or for it to be found that it was Dems doing it.

Way to go, Boulder County, Colorado Canvass Board!

We need more of these honest, fearless citizen members in the canvass boards!

What we can do is get into these boards to root out voter fraud from the ground up, county by county..........

Demorats are too far right for boulder. Boulder is defined as 32 square miles surrounded by reality!

“They were looking for reasons not to certify the election,” Hall said. “It’s disappointing that the issues they focused on were outside the purview of the canvass board.”

So the Canvass Board does not have standing, according to the person who will ignore their concerns.

Gee, I can't imagine why this would draw their focus:

That information included a Reconciliation Report that clearly showed that more ballots had been counted than ballots cast in 40 precincts."

This is right up there with the outlanding "let's move on" claims around Benghazi. Right out of the liberal playbook. It's all the fault of the watchdogs for barking.

Hall said that happened because some polling places served multiple precincts, and some voters were accidentally given ballots for other precincts. When their ballots were counted in the appropriate precincts, that created the appearance of extra ballots.""""""...........

"ACCIDENTALLY".....no way. How do these people live with themselves, no matter what they do they fall back on accidentally or some other on the spot made up statement.

Accidentally? and they will say every poll worker is honest upright etc. If "accidentally" then they are all INCOMPETANT and therefore not honest and upright.

Hall says that the extra votes are people voting in the wrong precinct, and when those are returned to the correct precint, the discrepancy goes away. Sounds legit, but I have no way to verify. I think that explanation is in the article I linked, if not it’s online somewhere.

The Republican Party has no stomach for the fight that is necessary to save America from the approaching totalitarianism. 2012 was a test run. The Dems are probably giddy that they got away with the election fraud so easily, with nary a peep from the GOP leadership. 2014 will just see them up the ante and steal the House.

Snip

Mandated by law

Colorado law specifies that canvass boards reconcile the ballots cast in each county’s elections to confirm that the number of ballots counted doesn’t exceed the number of ballots cast. The boards also are charged with reconciling the ballots cast in each of the county’s precincts, to confirm that the number of ballots cast doesn’t exceed the number of registered electors in the precinct.

State law also says canvass boards shall certify the abstract of votes cast in each election and transmit that certification to the secretary of state. But it also says that when a majority of the board members are unable to certify the abstract, “for any reason,” the board shall transmit the non-certified abstract to the secretary of state, along with a written report detailing the reason for non-certification.

end snip

Maybe this report will become public at some point....
