Female Marine officers are unlikely to join the infantry anytime soon, in part because of a lack of volunteers for the Marine Corps' Infantry Officer Course, which was opened to women in September.
Only two of about 80 eligible female Marines have volunteered for the course -- a grueling, three-month advanced regimen conducted at Quantico, Va., that was opened to women to research their performance.
Of the two female volunteers, one washed out on the first day, along with 26 of the107 men, and the other dropped out two weeks later for medical reasons, a Marine Corps spokesman said.

HAH! I think we liked using the word BAM just to get them wimmin all stirred up. LMAO! I remember one night I was walking guard duty at mainside Lejeune and they had a fire drill at the BAM barracks. That was pretty interesting for a while.

remember how out of 20 firemen 19 lassed the test and all were white the 20th guy was hispanic and then blacks claimed the test is geared towards whites.

Saying that I;’ve seen many men today who are either very fairy looking and look like Manning or just fat never iron clothes, shine boots, look after kit military members.
I will never forget when here in Jacksonville we had a few ships come in and the Navy guys and gals were just a bag of S$$$, hands in pockets, looked scruffy, awful and a disgrace to the military.
The women were so overweight and talked in such a way you would have thought they had just come off the street.
I asked one why she joined and she was honest. Pay off loans and get school while never getting in harms way.
The coastguard on the small ship, patrol one were te most professional, they knew their job, they were presenting themselves very well and made the coast guard look very professional.

Actually, females will evovle to be primary protectors in an r-selected environment, in r/K selection theory in evolutionary biology.
