It is probably too late to do anything about the actual debt - the politicians and this president plus our Sectary of the Treasury...Mr. Geithner all refuse to address the $85 Trillion actual debt because they haven't a clue how to fix it....in their life times. The biggest TAX will be OBAMACARE - more than Medicare ever will be...however, all we hear is "..over the cliff.." or "tax the rich" or implement a "wealth tax"...which will tax every one! Folks had better study up on just what a "Wealth Tax" is. Government Pensions are not sustainable - cut them in half. Greece behaves like everyone owes them.............listen up Unions.

I really wish the Repubs would tell the WH to go to hell. I’m ready to go over the cliff; hell’s bells, it’s what too many fools in this country voted for, so might as well give them a taste of it.

Apparently Mr. Sessions doesn't know the Constitution no longer exists. I'm just curious as to why all these congressional clowns are still collecting pay and benefits and re the perks that come with being the dictator and chief in the WH, why does the obozo get paid at all? President makes what, $300,000+ per year, how the hell is the obozo affording a $34 million mansion in Hawaii? Rhetorical!

Boehner's trying for a fait accompli again. Screw him and the GOP-E he rode in on.

I'm ready for the cliff. Who's with me?

Shouldn’t the President of the United States, the only person who represents everybody in the country, lay out his plan, or must that remain a secret too?

The Marxist does NOT represent me in all things! The President of a Republic represents the interests of the Republic -that which all the people in common agree upon. The President does NOT represent a community organized mob UNLESS that President is a tyrant!

Just kicked this to my congress critter - hope more folks are pinging theirs:

Congressman Pallazo, I have been watching the news on the "fiscal cliff" and hope that the Republicans in the House and Senate know that the Democrats cannot be trusted to follow up with any spending ciut "pledges" down the road, no matter what the Republicans do as signs of good faith. They have proved time and again that they have no honor and they have no compunction about breaking promises. Please push them to pass and enact a spending cuts bill into law BEFORE making any concessions. Else, the Republicans will have been complicit in another round of betraying their trust with the People. Same goes for raising taxes as the Democrats insist on - hold strong and push those who say they "love their country more than their pledge" because a man who will make excuses for breaking an oath cannot be trusted. I urge you and your fellow Congressmen to stand strong even if it means letting sequestration occur. The President has made it clear he will veto any bill he doesn't like, yet he signed the sequestration deal into law over a year ago. He and his side own it. I suggest that if it comes to it, the Republicans state that in the spirit of bipartisanship, they will not try to undo the law that the President has passed - you know the other side will make up lies to hurt Republicans with, why does it seem that Republicans are loath to even state the truth about the underhanded antics of the Democrats? Please stand firm and show us that some Republicans actually have principles and ethics that allow them to do what is best for America in the long-run instead of kicking the can down the road towards disaster. Sincerely, Name omitted to protect my alter identity
