Glenn Beck, the art critic, dunks Obama figurine in 'pee pee'

Glenn Beck, art critic, is back. The conservative commentator posted an online video Tuesday in which he addressed at length the subject of "obscene" art and the 1st Amendment. In an homage to Andres Serrano's "Piss Christ," Beck concluded by dunking a likeness of President Obama in a mason jar filled with a clear yellow liquid.

Beck offered to sell the work, titled "Obama in Pee Pee," for $25,000. "It's all protected by this document," he said, pointing to a copy of the Constitution.

"So whether you're offended by this one or by this one," Beck said, pointing to various examples of controversial art, "it sucks to be you, doesn't it?"

I’m all for vigorous arguments and debate, even when accompanied with the rich color of vulgarity in the adult setting. But this kind of exhibit is repugnant and not symbolic of the aggressive response the Left deserves.

Not sure how this helps to elevate the moral bar for those meandering across the political divide.

Now, we will have contests from the left to see the depth of grossness each side can go. He can do whatever he likes. I have often been at a loss to understand this idea where when one is assaulted morally or otherwise that the idea of net engaging the offender gives one the moral high ground.

Having attempted to take the high ground in such circumstances, how is it that while I may have taken the high ground....I lost the debate. There was little satisfaction for myself in having taken the high ground in the face of losing the debate. Whereas I have descended to their level and triumphed in the debate, I lost the high ground and was declared the loser.

The moral of the story is with the circumstance you have outlined....there is no way to win against those who offend. I am just expected to take it and offer no resistance to be thought a better person and yet am still viewed as a loser.

In order to defeat these leftist whackjobs one has to gore their sacred cows, filet them and stuff them down their throats as they have gored my sacred cows and stuffed them down my throat.

Sometimes fighting is the answer and war does solve the problem.
