Managing expectations is his day-to-day position against people who believe the mayor can solve all of Detroit's problems is the hardest thing he deals with every day.
Thats according to an interview Detroit Mayor Dave Bing did with CNN where he talked about the community's deep problems and how he plans to solve them.
"We are in an environment, I think, of entitlement, we've got a lot of people who are city workers, who for years and years, 20, 30 years, think they are entitled to a job and all that comes with it," Bing said.
He added: "Nobody wants to go backwards, but in order for us to move this city forward we're going to have to take a step or two backwards and then, I think, all of us have to participate in the pain that's upon us right now."

But his job is not remotely related to Obama’s, who continues to buy votes, reward cronies & hand out other people’s money, while complaining that the rich don’t pay their fair share.
Bing’s got a tough job. Obama is largely responsible for his situation, and doesn’t really care. He got what he wanted and has a complicit media to provide cover.
It’s good to be the Messiah.
Bing can’t print money, Obama can.
They are “entitled” to their feeeeeelings.
The problem with Detroit, is that it is full of Detrioters.
That's the truth in a nutshell
The result of the “Everybody Gets a Trophy” mindset of your public education system, Mr. Mayor.
Everything I need to know about Detroit can be seen on the show, HARDCORE PAWN...

Bing ping (couldn’t pass up that chance)
the problem is the city clowncil....
they are a walking joke..
Does anyone else want see Les smack the smarmy smirks off his ungrateful kids’ faces?
Don’t get me started on his “customers”....
I want that horseshoers job. I want it bad.
His solution? Close down parts of the city and pack people tighter into some sectors of the city. That will work well.
