The Czech Republic was the only European country that voted against the United Nations resolution on Thursday to recognize Palestine as a non-member observer state.
The resolution passed with an overwhelming majority of 138 votes in favor and nine against. 41 countries abstained.
French President François Hollande called for the resumption of negotiations between Israel and the PA without conditions and as quickly as possible.
After the resolution passed, Palestinian Authority Arabs fired in the air, whistled and embraced each other in both PA-assigned areas of Judea and Samaria as well as in Gaza.

Much of Europe has been on a suicide run for several years already.
It is very sad but Europe is no longer Christian (as their UN votes so clearly manifest), nor is much of Europe interested in its future freedom or well-being.
We can’t expect them to care about Isr when they don’t even care about themselves.
I love the Czechs. they have been fighting for freedom for over four centuries, and now that they have it, they appreciate it.
Most of the world wants us Jews dead. Gee. What a shock.
Me, too!! One of my top ‘must see’ places.
When the tribulation comes, they will be in the middle of it and will not like where it is taking them. Straight to hell.
Have liberals ever been that reflective? I think the mental disorder that causes liberalism precludes that kind of circumspection.
Been to prague. I loved it. If things get untenable in the US, it’s the place to go, except that I don’t know a word of the language, and if things get untenable in the US, I fear that the Czech Republic may suffer the fate of its Czechoslovakia predecessor in 1939.
They don’t have freedom. They’re in the EU. Even Vaclav Klaus, back during the Lisbon Treaty vote, decried the behavior of the top EU elites as being like the Soviets and called the EU as much of a threat to freedom as the USSR.
Thank you all very much!! Woo hoo!! And were now over 98%!! Less than $1.7k to go!! We can do this. Let's put this baby to bed!! |
You know the word ‘robot’ ~
Depends on the urgency of the calamity. There was a brief spot of unity in the USA immediately post-9/11 after all, except for among the most hardcore of leftists. Worse calamities are much harder to delude oneself away from.
The Europeans might as well get it over with: surrender the EU to the Arabs. It’s inevitable anyway. Sharia law for all. /s
Yep, and most folks hate the book that predicted this thousands of years ago, and pay no attention at all to it’s teachings.
As long as I have a breath in me, you’re not alone Pabianice. I can think of plenty of worse ways to go, than fighting along side Israel.
Living in SoCal, it’s not likely, but my loyalties are with you.
Your point?
You hit the nail on the head. Europe is run by anti-semite leftists. Remember, these are the same leaders who are intent on wiping out the indigenous peoples of Europe and their heritage all for the cause of multiculturalism (AKA - Islamization)
Even those who opposed this were too spineless to say so, and voted absent. All but the Czech Republic. Poland might have voted with us as well, had Bozo not thrown them under the bus. Our influence in the world has declined to lows not seen since our days under the British Empire. It is a DISASTER that our incompetent UN ambassador could not use our aid leverage to put almost all of southern Africa in our column. We couldn’t even get the Caribbean islands. No Grenada? No Antigua & Barbuda? These nations whore their votes out on a regular basis, and we’re supposed to believe the only thing we could get below our southern border was Panama?!
Bulldozers should demolish the UN HQ, and we should withdraw all funding from this corrupt organization which is dominated by Islamic dictators and socialist thugs. Will Obama be held accountable for this massive failure to convince even ten countries to stand up for what is right? No. He’s never held accountable.
You said: “I dont know a word of the language “ yet, a common English language word ‘robot’ is originally a Czech language term ~ see; http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=robot
Thanks for sharing that. Now I know a Czech word.
I love the Czechs. they have been fighting for freedom for over four centuries, and now that they have it, they appreciate it.
Correct.
My visit to Pilsen (Plzen) a few years ago was an eye-opener. The locals make it a point to tell visitors about their prestigious synagogue in the center of Pilsen (most Euros care less about Jews or synagogues).
And, the main bridge crossing the river is named ‘Most Pattona’.....”Patton Bridge”...yes that Patton....US Gen. George Patton. And the locals let you know that he and his US forces liberated Pilsen in WW II (a fact covered up by both the USSR and US for years).
Oh, and, Vaclav Klaus. If we are going to allow foreign born Presidents here, now, I say we vote for him
No surprise the Czechs voted against the Palestinian “whatever”
That word is common across most Slavic languages, including Russian. (Alexander Burgess, when creating Nadsat, turned it into “rabbit”, however.)
