As I understand it, GWB doubled the debt in eight years, and BHO increased it in his first term by as much as GWB did in both terms.
Rather relevant facts that don’t make GWB look very good, even in comparison with BHO.

Ordinarily I would say NO, he hasnt, the prez does not have the power to spend money, that is in the powers granted to congress BUT.....................Since they have not passed a budget in what? 3 years now? I guess that only leaves the prez.

In partial defense of GWB, I believe a very large chunk of the debt he added was the bipartisan “stimulus” package that would keep us out of a severe recession.
Obama’s and the Democrats’ only criticism of that bill was that it wasn’t big enough.
Its falling under GWB’s responsibility is more a function of the calendar than G’s spending/borrowing proclivities.
BTW, who writes this crap? I puzzled over it for five minutes trying to figure out who had borrowed what.
GWB failed us, but they will call for Jebbie to the rescue! Just watch those dumb Republican primary voters fall for Jebbie.
