I hope the courts stop this and I don’t care that it could be used by our side in the furture. This is an abuse of power no matter which side does it.
We have a system of checks and balances for a reason, this is clearly an abuse of power by the executive branch.
So, when’s 0bama’s initial action in Libya without Consent of Congress going to be brought for review? Or his dereliction of duty as CIC in Benghazi? To name a few..
Don’t start popping the champagne bottles, yet. Presuming that this ourt hands down a verdict that supports the Reoublicans’ position, the case will probably wind up in the SCOTUS where CJ Roberts will, undoubtedly, rule that recess appointments equate to a stupidity tax on the minority party.
And, that, my FRiends, will be the end of that!
