Boycott the U.S. military
WND ^ | December 06, 2012 | Joseph Farah

Exclusive: Joseph Farah urges family, friends not to serve for 'corrupt and dangerous' boss

This may sound like a strange idea coming from someone who loves and respects the U.S. military.

It’s time to deny it our sons and daughters and our grandchildren. For those young enough to serve, it’s time to deny it yourselves. It’s time to boycott the U.S. military.

What am I talking about? Have I completely flipped my lid? Who will protect the nation from foreign enemies in these turbulent times without manpower?

Let me begin with something that put me over the edge: When foreign-serving U.S. military personnel were systematically denied by the Barack Obama administration the right to vote in the 2012 presidential election, I decided I would never encourage any son, daughter or friend of mine to enlist voluntarily in the U.S. military again – at least during the next four years.

That was a disgusting, self-serving and deliberate political act by a White House hell-bent to maintain power by hook or by crook. And it denied those risking their lives for their country the sacrosanct right to participate in our electoral system.

That was it for me.

And I don’t just blame Obama. I blame every general or admiral who carried out those orders.

But there’s much more to this idea of a military boycott than just that national disgrace.

The man who made that political calculation is commander in chief of the U.S. military. It’s not that I don’t trust his judgment. It’s that I do. I trust him to make the wrong decision about the use of the military in every situation that arises.

Here are my three questions for Benghazi-Coward Obama:

1.) Are you HIDING INFORMATION from the US Congress about the Benghazi Massacre?

2.) Have you been LYING to the US Congress, The Media, or the American Public about the Benghazi Massacre?

3.) Were you, as Commander in Chief, GROSSLY NEGLIGENT about your responsibilities to protect and assist those four Americans who subsequently were murdered in the Benghazi Massacre?

Impeach! IMPEACH! IMPEACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have two 3 Afghan tour grunts in the Corps. One gets out today on an early out due to cut backs and said most of his friends are too. He said all he had to do was ask.

there aren't enough of any of the other people to fill the military up.....

could we be a nation that starts to HIRE illegals, somalians, etc to be our army?...could we be so weakened that we have to have mercenaries?....

will we never have a strong moral patriotic leader ever again?...

My son is out as of the end of the year. Thank God. He served his country as a US Marine for over 12 years. A few months ago, he told me Mom, I am not leaving the Marines, The Marine left me. It’s not the way he was taught it would be and just couldn’t take it anymore. He is heartbroken, because he wanted to make it his career. But you cannot serve in a military that treats its’ Marines like poop and then expect respect. And he was not alone. Alot of guys got out or are getting out because of Obama. They all mostly feel the way my son does. It is sad. We had better do something or this Country is gone. God Help us.

Not to worry. He knows his duty as do the vast majority of the military.

You know, I’ve had this basic line of thinking about the
military for the last 2 or 3 years, but was ashamed to say
it out loud.

I knew I couldn’t be alone.

“Not to worry. He knows his duty as do the vast majority of the military.”

That’s good. Some I’ve talked to haven’t figured it out.

Really "I regret the years that I served and I only had to deal with Bush 1 and then BJ Clinton."

I have a few more years in than you...

Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton

I don't regret any of it, for I served the Constitution, and the country.. not a individual.

I think you, and the rest of this line of thinking need to reassess what it means to serve.

Boycott the military? Spare me the hyperbole serve or don't... Boycott is for unions and social change not for defense of the country.

I don’t know; I despair, too.

But I don’t want my son in the brig for shooting an enemy.

I don’t want my son dead because he had to cover for a female soldier.

I don’t want my son to have to listen to two men getting it on in the bunk above him.

I don’t want my son building mosques.

I agree with Farah. With demographic changes on the horizen(even now), I suspect the future makeup of our military will be very different than it has been in the past. In recent decades, I’ve heard the military tends to lean Republican. I suspect it will be very different in the future.

Translation: Our future military will be made up of people who would love nothing more than to turn their guns on our own citizens, especially Christians and of the Caucasian persuasion.

Gut it.

I don’t think there’s much likelihood of Farah’s children or his friends’ children joining the military. I’m sure they have “other priorities”.

Why enlist to protect this POS country we now live in, only to be labeled a "terrorist" by Napolitano?

Impeach the kenyan or secession.
