As long as the gravy train is moving, the appearance of the economy to his base is not only fine, but humming along quite well. Immaterial factors include inflation, unemployment, deficit, debt, unfunded liabilities.

I think as long as workers can go straight to “disabiliity” once their unemployment checks run out, Barry will continue to be considered a magical “messiah”.
